This if from DC.com:

Through the first eight games of the season, Prescott was sacked 10 times while throwing 16 touchdown passes with only four interceptions. Over the last eight outings, he was taken down a whopping 22 times with just six touchdown throws and nine picks.

all you had to do is watch the games to see this was correct

Here's a stat. Adrian Clayborn got 6 sacks in a single game.

When asked about it, he said he didn't do anything different, he just kept getting to the QB.

Our swing tackle was basically the equivalent of playing with 10 men on the field.

Dak was on pace for 32 touchdowns and 8 picks before that mess happened...yet, everyone wants him gone lol.
i like Dak, i watched him at MS and was excited about what he brings especially as a 4th rounder
but he has to play better
and if **** around him is causing him to fail he needs to get it straightened out because its on him now

Unless the coaches are letting him make the line calls, the play calls, shifts in protections, telling the TE where to lineup and the RB who to chip, no, it's not on him. I know some people are high on Garrett now because of that Amazon show, but his unwillingness to adapt and give Green help not only cost us that game and possibly the season, but legitimately should have cost him his job. Instead, no one took blame. No one was shown the door. Status quo goes on.

This team will continue to get the same results as long as Garrett is running the show. They will beat the people they can line up and beat one on one, but any time they have to scheme or adapt, they're gonna have a tough time. In short, they're not going to win a big game against a good team (the Super Bowl).

I agree. He needs to play better than he did the end of last season.

Prescott
when both Smith & Martin took most or all of offensive snaps (11 games)
1 sack every 29 dropbacks
212 of 338 2464 yd 21 td 6 int 98.0

remaining 4 games (not counting last game in Philly)
1 sack every 8 dropbacks
79 of 122 681 yd 0 td 7 int 55.4

Glad we prioritized the OL this off-season. A dominant OL is our bread and butter. It allows us to do many things. I think we can be pretty good of our defense delivers.

I think in order for us to win it all we're going to need a top 5 OL, an elite running game and a solid defense.

I think Dak can be a solid bus driver, but he's not a guy that's going to put the team on his back and overcome a bunch of injuries like we saw last year.

Are you saying our swing tackle...was a swing tackle?
