Despite the 4th quarter pass to Witten, that's two weeks in a row that Romo has played poorly...he needs a big game against Atlanta.

You guys are awfully dramatic. 20/34 with 7.5 ypa and leading the game winning drive in the fourth quarter is playing poorly? Gimme a break. If you want to see a 'poor' QB performance, watch Chicago.

Romo didn't play well yesterday...ups and downs are to be expected for a developing QB...the rest of the team is supposed to be able to step up when he's off. Yesterday, no one did.

That's right. The supporting cast failed miserably last night.

Happens sometimes.

i'm feeling allright, because looking at how Coach Parcells deals when his team suffers from a blow out he works the players 120% harder then normal. so i expect a win for the next 3 weeks :)

I am terribly afraid we annointed Tony too quick, thinking he was the real deal, and wanting him to be badly, we allowed ourselves to get drawn into the feeding frenzy when he managed to win some games on luck rather than skill........and with all the money spent on this defense and all the draft choices we began believing we had something here in our team we havent had in 12 years, a winner........but folks that game at home this late in the season and a defeat of such magnitude shows we have been fooling ourselves, we be the same ol Cowboys that we have been, still on the outside looking in, and I am not sure we didnt let the wrong coach go to New Orleans.................

Finally, some respect. Thanks for the props Dave_in-NC. Honestly I didn't expect a blow out on either side. I had predicted the score to be N.O. 27 Dallas 24. Well I was wrong. I always knew that Drew Brees was a very good QB. But even I didn't expect how well he would lead the Saints this season. If there is a bright side to the game for the Cowboys, it is that there were no serious injuries. Your team is looking healthy and you are still poised for a wildcard slot.

Thanks Cowboys fans for letting us hang out with ya'll in your forum. Most everyone here has been very classy to us Saints fans. This is a very nice forum. One thing I can say good about Cowboys fans is that ya'll obviously love your team and most of you are not fair weather bandwagoners like the Falcons fans. Good luck with the Falcons and rest of the season.

RE-New Orleans. GEAUX SAINTS!!!

thanks for the comment, and again your team played great, The Saints are a feel good story, and if we cant somehow turn it around, i hope you guys go all the way. but with all that said, i think there is a good chance we might be meeting up with you guys again in a few weeks. so this might not be quite settled.

I act as if we just got handed our heads in a ball game against a team with a winning record once again, now you can call it glass half empty if you want, I have been watching this team since its inception, and nobody wanted em to be the real deal more than me, but last night was a real reality check for me, enough to tell myself to take off the rose colored glasses and take a look at how things have really gone so far, now if you saw something there in a blow out that makes you think we are gonna be a threat to any legitimate team in the playoffs or anytime else this season playing like that, please half full glass, tell me what it was.................

Thor remember the superbowl that was Tampa v.s. Oakland a few years back? the year after Jon Gruden was hired from oakland to Tampa and in the super bowl the Bucs just KILLED the raiders? yeah, its knowledge of the other team, Coach Payton knew our team in and out, the linebackers that we casted away, knew EXACT what the linebackers are supposta do, the auidables. and Payton used to be in charge of the passing game and the Quarterbacks coach. The second time around will be a very very differnt story

Glass half full done ;)

:starspinGood morning ZONERS:

How are all of you this morning?

I am SICK, but trying to get into recovery mode.

Coaching let us down.....team was NOT prepared--period!

I believe it was a MENTAL let down from the big Giants win!

ROMO finally played poorly.......let's see how well he leads us back--he will!

DEFENSE--did they make the trip to the stadium? Spears/Canty? And I personally, have to quit making excuses for my boy Roy Williams (he needs to look in the mirror) put the biscuit down. They ALL looked SLOW!

Special Teams--nothing special about them.

Bright side: we hopefully got this BAD game out of our system and will show some COWBOY pride for the stretch drive to the playoffs and Super Bowl. :starspin

I told you Parcells needs to go weeks ago. We haven't beaten any teams that were playing well. Everybody we've beaten, Colts included are struggling. The NFC is horrible, that's why we seem to be a good team.

Kingwhicker posted this.

2003- Miami 40-21- Sitting at 8-3 we get shellacked by the Dolphins on Thanksgiving and finish the year 3-2. Yeah, we went on to get in the playoffs and get trounced by Carolina.

2004-Green Bay 41-20- A scrappy 2-3 going in, flop to a 4-7 finish to end at 6-10.

2005-Washington 35-7: 8-5 and in control of our playoff hopes going in, we mess the bed and finish 1-2 to end up 9-7 and miss the playoffs.

2006-New Orleans 42-17: 8-4 going in, get destroyed at home- let's see if we follow the previous three seasons.

I said it SEEMS...and as you can see we have lost more big games badly than we have won.

Exactly, this is a trend with Parcells. It's time he get's the message that it's over for him. He just ain't all that anymore.

Curse words were still echoing in my living room when I got up this morning.

Not happy about the game at all, would say that I was more upset about that game than I have been in a long time, and that is saying quite a bit considering we have had some stinkers over the last few years.

But...I will be in a bad mood today and it will pass.

Time to get ready for the next game.

I agree.....I am still FUMING!

Thier FANS (who got into our stadium) actually out CHEERED our fans!

We have PRIDE, therefore, we will be back ZONERS!
