:starspinGood morning ZONERS:

How are all of you this morning?

I am SICK, but trying to get into recovery mode.

Coaching let us down.....team was NOT prepared--period!

I believe it was a MENTAL let down from the big Giants win!

ROMO finally played poorly.......let's see how well he leads us back--he will!

DEFENSE--did they make the trip to the stadium? Spears/Canty? And I personally, have to quit making excuses for my boy Roy Williams (he needs to look in the mirror) put the biscuit down. They ALL looked SLOW!

Special Teams--nothing special about them.

Bright side: we hopefully got this BAD game out of our system and will show some COWBOY pride for the stretch drive to the playoffs and Super Bowl. :starspin

Despite the 4th quarter pass to Witten, that's two weeks in a row that Romo has played poorly...he needs a big game against Atlanta.

I never expected to win out. If any one could beat us it was the Saints. Peyton knows our team as well as Parcells does. I sure didn't expect that type of beating though.

The Saints are the best offense in the NFL. Gotta give them props.

I saw TO showing very depressed face even after the TD.
In the very last min, I saw Jerry Jones standing at the side line, what is he doing there ? Usually I thought only when comes to close games, he would be so excited as to stand side line.....either way, he was very excited but is fumes this time.

It'd be nice if the defense could pull a stop every now and then too.

:storm:
Gloom, despair, and agony on me.
(wwhoa...)
Deep dark depression, excessive misery
(Wwhoaa...)
If it weren't for bad luck I'd have no luck at all
(WWWHOAAA...)
Gloom, despair, and agony on me.....

Not.

Life goes on.

What I'm upset about the most is how we just absolutely got our ***'s kicked at Home with so very much on the line.

I can handle a loss if we play well but hey sometimes the other team plays better...But come on last night was ridiculous.

Seems like every big game that we have played since Parcells has been here we have gotten beaten and badly. Not a good trend from the Hall of Famer.

How many Cowboys games have you seen on TV. JJ always stands on the sidelines late in a game.

Depressed face? Yeah, we were getting our @$$es kicked.

... except the Colts ... and the Giants.

Curse words were still echoing in my living room when I got up this morning.

Not happy about the game at all, would say that I was more upset about that game than I have been in a long time, and that is saying quite a bit considering we have had some stinkers over the last few years.

But...I will be in a bad mood today and it will pass.

Time to get ready for the next game.

Coughlin drew up an attact plan for our defense. It will be used untill we adjust. However, I don't know if we have good enough coverage LB's to adjust. This week will tell. Season.

I really wish people would stop saying this.

It is not like "getting a bad game out of the way" is an exact science and after you do play horribly, that your team will play well the rest of the year.

This captures my state of mind completely.

The fact that you and I are thinking alike should also add to your foul mood today, BP.

I doubt anyone is feeling very good this morning.

Oh well...life goes on.

Kingwhicker posted this.

2003- Miami 40-21- Sitting at 8-3 we get shellacked by the Dolphins on Thanksgiving and finish the year 3-2. Yeah, we went on to get in the playoffs and get trounced by Carolina.

2004-Green Bay 41-20- A scrappy 2-3 going in, flop to a 4-7 finish to end at 6-10.

2005-Washington 35-7: 8-5 and in control of our playoff hopes going in, we mess the bed and finish 1-2 to end up 9-7 and miss the playoffs.

2006-New Orleans 42-17: 8-4 going in, get destroyed at home- let's see if we follow the previous three seasons.

I said it SEEMS...and as you can see we have lost more big games badly than we have won.

That was a sickening performance Brain... absolutely horrendous.

I'm still somewhat depressed.

I really wanted to finish up 12-4.

11-5 will do, I guess.

Props to the Saints. They showed Dallas how the game should be played. Hopefully this will be a lesson well learned by the Cowboys and they will regroup and come out strong....and prepared, next week.

Finally, some respect. Thanks for the props Dave_in-NC. Honestly I didn't expect a blow out on either side. I had predicted the score to be N.O. 27 Dallas 24. Well I was wrong. I always knew that Drew Brees was a very good QB. But even I didn't expect how well he would lead the Saints this season. If there is a bright side to the game for the Cowboys, it is that there were no serious injuries. Your team is looking healthy and you are still poised for a wildcard slot.

Thanks Cowboys fans for letting us hang out with ya'll in your forum. Most everyone here has been very classy to us Saints fans. This is a very nice forum. One thing I can say good about Cowboys fans is that ya'll obviously love your team and most of you are not fair weather bandwagoners like the Falcons fans. Good luck with the Falcons and rest of the season.

RE-New Orleans. GEAUX SAINTS!!!

How's my mood this morning? Let me put it this way:

"My God! My God! What will the country say?" - Abraham Lincoln, upon recieving the news of the Union defeat at Chancellorsville.

"If there is a worse place than Hell, then I am in it" - A.. Lincoln

I'll bet Big Bill can sympathize with Honest Abe this morning.

Personally, I haven't been this crushed by a defeat since the season opening loss to the Texans in 2002, and for pretty much the same reasons. That was the last time I really believed that things had turned around for the Cowboys, only to see those hopes come crashing down.

Hey thanks man.

We do love our team.

Good luck to you guys too.....but the way they played last night, the Saints don't need alot of that.

The Saints came marching in and knocked dallas the heck out.

Good job.....and congrats. Heck of team you got there.
