Want this locked up before week 16 since I am going to Mexico for 10 days on the 26th and I'm not sure I will get a chance to watch the games

I wouldn't spent much time on stats. Dallas has monster matchup with Giants in 2 weeks.

When we win the Giants game it is over. We will be too far ahead and we will have split with them. You have to give the Giants credit for making it a race against a 1 loss team.

I love it.
But isn't that the site that gave Hillary a 90% chance of beating Trump the night before the election.
Not sure I trust their stats anymore.

Actually it was the ONLY site that gave him any credible chance of winning. I think he was at a 30% of winning

I could care less about stats.
The game is played on the field.

I can see the media now asking - Have the Cowboys done a credit check yet?

What will it take for Cowboys to clinch a playoff spot? Strange we are not yet in with 10 wins just yet with a bunch of tiebreakers in our favor...

If the Eagles lose tonight, and we beat the Vikings. Saints lose, TB loses, Washington loses. We clinch a playoff spot.

Edit, if we win Thursday, that will take out the Saints from being in contention with us.

I do not see the Saints anywhere in this. I don't believe they are 100% eliminated yet from being in contention with us at the 6th spot. Unless we win Thursday night.
Guess it is a mute point if we win though to add the NO in these scenarios. LOL.

Win the next 2 and we win the NFC East.
Win next 3 and we clinch HFA

That's my simple take.

Winning 3, but must beat the Giants, yes. But just winning the next 2 may not give us the division at that time, unless Giants lose to Pittsburgh.
If Giants beat Pittsburgh, and we beat the Giants. We still need another win or a NY loss. As at worse case scenario we can end up tied, same record, same head to head, same divison. However common opponents come before conference record, as we would be tied in the conference also.

Would need to see wins and losses against common opponents.
Again, this is worse case scenario if we win the next 2, and lost out, and NY win, losses, then wins out.

Looked at the schedules.
Common opponents including the first game against NY. Not sure if these games against each other count as a common opponent.
we are 9-1, NY is 6-3, we have TB which is not a common opponent yet to play.

You may be right on the win the next 2 and if NY loses to Pittsburgh. As the common opponent thing we have the edge. and giving me too much of a headache to figure it out right now. LOL.
so yes, just win the next 3....

The bolded doesn't matter since the only way common opponents come in to play (in a 2-team race) is if the head-to-head is tied. (I believe they do not count as common opponents for things like 3-team ties).
