Statistically 81% For HFA

It's three consecutive wins a team needs. So we play NYG in the next three games n'est pas?

I will take your word for it but if won three and Giants won five, would they not be ahead of us on tiebreaker?
You are correct. If the Giants win out, then they have beaten us twice and own the tiebreaker on us, so we need to win our other 4 games to stay ahead of them.

But the Giants aren't going to win out. Their upcoming schedule is very difficult and they simply aren't that good. They've won one game (Browns) by more than a touchdown and they barely have a positive point differential (+18).

Oh I agree that it is not likely but magic numbers assume the other team will win out. Still, I think three gets us HFA

I know that the giants schedule is pretty difficult but so is ours.

Here's our last 6 games, including Washington. 3 playoff teams and all of them are capable of being playoff teams. Not an easy schedule by any means.

Record - Team - Current seed
6-4-1 - Commanders - (W) 6th seeds
6-5 - @Vikings - 8th seed
8-3 - @Giants - 5th seed
6-4 - Tampa - 7th seed
7-4 - Detroit - 3rd or 4th seed
5-5 - @Philadelphia - 9th seed

38-25-1 Combined record
