So what went wrong. A team loss.

Dak threw 2 picks. Argue all off season one was not his fault and one was a pick 6. Other than that.. We had him throwing the ball 60 freaking times. What did you expect.

41/60 for 403 yards. 3 TDs and 2 ints. We were behind so we needed to throw that much. He was sacked 4 times. Used his legs and ran 6 times for 45 yards. Other than the pick 6 not a bad day for a QB that had to throw that many times. But yet he still seemed to look bad doing it. Lol. Meanwhile love was 16/22 for 272. 3 TDs.

Run game… We ran 25 times. For 123 yards. And Dak had 45 of it scrambling and running. 11 yards were for WR end around. 17/67 yards between Pollard and Dowdle. Anyone see a problem.

We ran 89 plays to there 54.
We had 37 first downs to there 22.
We had 510 yards to there 415.
We had 387 yards passing to there 272.
We had picked up 10/16 first downs to there 6/10.
We had the ball a few minutes more than the did.
They had 20 more rushing yards than us.
They picked up a 4th down and we failed 2 times.

We had 6 penalties for 48 yards. They had 7 for 66 yards.

Special teams.
They punted 3 times and we punted 2 times.
We got 1 FG. They got all TDs

Then our Defense. Grrr.
They had 4 sacks and we got O. We gave up 6 TDs and they got a pick 6 from Dak. They gave up 4 TDs. And I don’t need to say how bad it was we know.

Our Offense didn’t put up a point until time was expiring in the FIRST HALF. The game got was finished when we gave up 38 yard td pass at the end of 3rd quarter. Thats when it was done and 41-16. Pedal was lifted off so any stats after that was garbage.

But if someone showed you the initial stats you would think Cowboys won that game in a close one.

Both sides for us played poorly but any Defense that gave up 6 TDs is losing. The gross part is that even after they let off our pathetic Defense couldn’t even stop them in the 4th quarter when it’s 41-16. We turned around and let them score opening td of the 4th.

Thats simply a team that layed down with poor coaching and unprepared. If these coaches had them focused and prepared then when they came out slow MM and Quinn could have jumped on them at least at halftime and they would have perked up. And if the TEAM is prepared and a player is slacking you could bench them for a bit. They simply look past this team. It’s plain and simple. Players had parties planned after the game. I will leave you with these words.

REMEMBER THE CABO GAME. Us against a lesser giants team. JJ walking around the field before the game handing out playoff tickets to the next game to our players while they were stretching..

Good write up, but I have to disagree on when the game was over. It was after the pick 6.

Yes, they narrowed it to a 3 TD deficit before the half, but there was no magic wand that was going to change the defense during the half and hold GB scoreless in the 2nd half. The ONLY way they had a chance would’ve been a special team play AND a defensive turnover.

This was pure and simple a failure first and foremost of the FO, both in culture and roster construction. Secondly, it was an abject failure of coaching. And lastly, it was a failure by the players, including the highest paid and most critical.

27-0
28-3

One team came back from that, one didnt.
Unfortunately we had the same guy that was on the losing side of both of those

I can’t disagree. And was waiting for that ST play or a fumble or a Bland pick 6 to get something going. Dak made some bad throws and risky throws.

This is the thing about football...

Defense sucked big time. But how many games this year did the defense win games for the team this year?

Don't get me wrong, D sucked as much as Philly's agasint the Bucks "in a big game". Go figure.

They will extend him. If the Defense played well and Dak has the 2 picks and we lose 17-14 or something that put more blame on him then I could see. He made a choice your supposed to by throwing towards the blitz and Lamb was there but the defender beat him to the ball. But even if Dak has a good game it would have been hard. It would take a great game. But he certainly deserves some blame. He took a sack rolling out and had the guy downfield he usually would make the throw but he was so afraid to turn it over he took the sack instead of throwing it away.

Probably.

So much of the Cowboys yards came after the score got to 48-16. Packers pulled Kenny Clark, Rashaan Gary, Preston Smith, and Quay Walker at that point. Any yards / TDs gained after that have to be viewed as garbage time stats.

If we had a run game it would have changed a lot of that. Alot those 1st downs was likely done in the air..

Yep that was right after the 4th quarter starter. I saw a few breaks that we needed a big momentum swinging play to come from our Defense that maybe could have gotten us going. Was after we started second half and only got FG was 27-10. And the last chance was at the end of 3rd after we score it was 34-16. Needed a big turn over and quick score to shock them. But train was already off the tracks.
