The game was over at 14-0. With the defensive plan in place due to Gilly's injury there was simply no stopping the Packers.

Add in the Dak factor and once we fell behind that much it was over.
I just don’t get it. Is there that much of a drop off. After you watch them run it down your throat and leave the middle open all day. You can not at least try to replace him and go back to man coverage. Bring a blitz on a pass down.. Quinn tried nothing something in the second half and your Defense has lost all confidence.. Staff didn’t want it either. MM saw them in the first drive and ran against stacked boxes and threw on 4 man fronts. Now Dak didn’t exactly audible either..

That was STUPID, even for Jerry
Tell me that didn’t give the team the wrong type of culture. I guess he was thinking he was giving them confidence in them but they have to go out against a team that has a lot of talent or would not be in the playoffs. And if the other team knows they dont have the same amount of talent then the staff is gonna have them playing hard and physical.. Coaching is for sure another facet of the game in the playoffs. You need that prep and to be able to lean on your staff to have a game plan to out them in the right position..

Blanket stats do not tell the whole story. Look how bad the offense was in the 1st half, 2 INt's with 1 being a pick 6, sacks, 3 and outs. They came back late in the game when the game was basically out of reach and that just pads the stats to make the team look competitive where anyone watching saw they were not.

If he is trash I can’t figure out how he can help a team win enough games to make the playoffs and then fold like that. End of 3rd quarter we had that turnover on downs and they turned that into a td. Was the kill shot. Or just another one left over from the first half. Not just Daks flawed play the fact we couldn’t run the ball and move the sticks killed us. Killed us in most of the games we lost this year. Dak is not the QB you want to leave the game up to on his arm..
Cooper Rush was basically 5-1 with the same roster, minus Cooks.

They did on the 3rd and 7 and Love threw a dime for a TD.

At least 1/3 or 1/4 of the stats were padded. The effort came a quarter too late. We needed to mount the come back in second half. Td instead of FG and needed a turnover. And another TD. Needed a big momentum swing. But our Defense was having none of that. How could they play that bad. From one game to the last Gilmore is hurt and we go zone. I haven’t looked but heard they don’t play zone..

Terrible division and poor schedule. He loses to any team over 500. There you go.

But it’s a team game. Do you mean any team with an above .500 defense. Its one thing to say a good team makes him nervous and there is something inside him that just gets scared if there team is maybe better than his…

Do you think Romo was the same way. Other wise it would be Aikman was the last QB we had that could stand up to better teams. And when he was in his hayday. He had losing seasons. But when he won it all he had one hell of a team around him.. This team is losing because of the FO and an Owner/GM/HC/ OC. Only thing he lets go of is maybe Defense but after years of watching I think he (JJ) wants smaller DTs. Honestly look at other teams and there DT situation. Is there another team that don’t get it. Is there another team that has small DT and is stopping the run. There maybe but where.

The defense was a whole different story. They were terrible from start to finish.

I was at the game. I know exactly what happened.

You’re just confirming my point. The only reason it was 27-10 was because Dallas had back-to-back drives ending the half and starting the 2nd. Green Bay scored a TD the first opportunity they had. At 27-0, or 27-10 for that matter, swapping scores was just treading water.

I’m not sure what agenda you think I have.
What? Lol Your point was that the game was over in the first half when were down by 3 TD's. 27-0. I said we started to come to life with two straight scoring drives, making it 27-10 with over a quarter and a half to go. After the FG to make it a respectable 27-10, our defense let them go on a super easy, 5 play, 75-yard drive. Making it 34-10. That's when I said that I knew it was over. I have no idea why you think I proved your point.

I think the problem is that he seems to magically have a bad game when the rest of the team and Defense had a bad games. But I have seen him have bad games all by himself.. So did Romo. Its screwed up:

So what went wrong. A team loss.

Dak threw 2 picks. Argue all off season one was not his fault and one was a pick 6. Other than that.. We had him throwing the ball 60 freaking times. What did you expect.

41/60 for 403 yards. 3 TDs and 2 ints. We were behind so we needed to throw that much. He was sacked 4 times. Used his legs and ran 6 times for 45 yards. Other than the pick 6 not a bad day for a QB that had to throw that many times. But yet he still seemed to look bad doing it. Lol. Meanwhile love was 16/22 for 272. 3 TDs.

Run game… We ran 25 times. For 123 yards. And Dak had 45 of it scrambling and running. 11 yards were for WR end around. 17/67 yards between Pollard and Dowdle. Anyone see a problem.

We ran 89 plays to there 54.
We had 37 first downs to there 22.
We had 510 yards to there 415.
We had 387 yards passing to there 272.
We had picked up 10/16 first downs to there 6/10.
We had the ball a few minutes more than the did.
They had 20 more rushing yards than us.
They picked up a 4th down and we failed 2 times.

We had 6 penalties for 48 yards. They had 7 for 66 yards.

Special teams.
They punted 3 times and we punted 2 times.
We got 1 FG. They got all TDs

Then our Defense. Grrr.
They had 4 sacks and we got O. We gave up 6 TDs and they got a pick 6 from Dak. They gave up 4 TDs. And I don’t need to say how bad it was we know.

Our Offense didn’t put up a point until time was expiring in the FIRST HALF. The game got was finished when we gave up 38 yard td pass at the end of 3rd quarter. Thats when it was done and 41-16. Pedal was lifted off so any stats after that was garbage.

But if someone showed you the initial stats you would think Cowboys won that game in a close one.

Both sides for us played poorly but any Defense that gave up 6 TDs is losing. The gross part is that even after they let off our pathetic Defense couldn’t even stop them in the 4th quarter when it’s 41-16. We turned around and let them score opening td of the 4th.

Thats simply a team that layed down with poor coaching and unprepared. If these coaches had them focused and prepared then when they came out slow MM and Quinn could have jumped on them at least at halftime and they would have perked up. And if the TEAM is prepared and a player is slacking you could bench them for a bit. They simply look past this team. It’s plain and simple. Players had parties planned after the game. I will leave you with these words.

REMEMBER THE CABO GAME. Us against a lesser giants team. JJ walking around the field before the game handing out playoff tickets to the next game to our players while they were stretching..
Stats definitely lie. Dak got a ton of those stats after the game was out of hand and our defense let Green Bay score in 5 plays some drives so naturally some of those stats around plays will be skewed.

Bottom line we lost the turnover battle and struggled to force punts and field goals. Thats usually a recipe for losing.

One team came back from that, one didnt.
Unfortunately we had the same guy that was on the losing side of both of those
You just indirectly compared Dak to Brady. Dak couldn’t even be Toms waterboy. If we had Brady the last 8 years, we’d have 3 rings minimum.

Trying to. But watching so many players fail in one game…
which means you HAVE to look at the coaching. when a favored team utterly collapses and looks unprepared from the start, at home, in a playoff game, the coaches MUST take the brunt of the blame...even though "the players play the game". that performance was a reflection upon the coaches. they have to own it.
