AOA might not even make the team because of the #'s back there right now as it is.

So if what the scouts told Broaddus is right, and AOA is a bust, what do you all think of Sandejo? I know he's not that gifted athletically, but he plays smart and tough. Any chance he could eventually be a Jim Leonhard?

I didnt . He went to IUP. Which is a small crap college close to me. It was a reach to draft him. He would have went undrafted.

There is absolutely no way he would have gone undrafted... that's ridiculous; the Cowboys drafted him right about where he was projected to go...

Sendejo (sp?) has done alright. I wanna see some more from him though.

Hey Bear, so do you still think the Cowboys picked up Jeremy Parnell to be a blocking TE, and that they haven't indeed gave up on Brewster?
;)

He will to be in the NFL. I wouldn't be surprised if he was cut by the cowboys and signed by a lesser market team and developed. He would probably be a great fit for the rams or dolphins. Have him sit on the bench for a year or 2 and play special teams and learn the game

AOA wont be in the league in 3 years

Whether or not he will be in the NFL in three years or not is irrelevant to the point some are making...He was drafted about where he was slated to be drafted.

Next.

He was really raw and only has a year in the league. Lets see how he does after this year. Although, to get trucked like he did shows one of three things. Tackling inexperience, not understanding common physics, or lack of confidence when trying to make a play.

The only one I can guess it would be is the confidence issue. If he wants to play in this league, he better get that confidence up. You can't play in the NFL if you don't have confidence.

Until this team spends a 1st or 2nd rounder on a quality safety, I will never be excited about any safety prospect on the team after all the guys they've tried out there in the last 6 years

I do not like hindsight drafting.....its too easy for me (and all fans) to do after the fact..But you make a point that i agree with 100% and Just wanted to add that 5 picks after Dallas picked Bruce Carter, Raheem Moore (FS) was picked by Denver and he has won thew starting spot next to Brian Dawkins already in camp....and according to the team reports looks really good so far and plays with confidence and swagger.....I am not saying thast is accurate and that he will be aplayer .....but i am saying he was there and 'looks" to be a good pick by Denver, and could have been a nice young FS to put into the starting lineup...iff not right away, soon....

and i love BC, and i coached a teammate of his at UNC (Zach Brown) who is really good friends with BC still and says his knee will be fine before the opener.....none of that i know for sure and its all "hearsay' and "friend of a friend talk".......You never know, maybe BC turns into everything we want him to be and that they expect him to be, and maybe Raheem Moore isn't all that....

Like i said i hate to do the post draft "shoulda" game, and hate to be the hindsight fan that looks at things AFTER the fact. but just pointing that out....that there was a FS in the drafty available in rd 2 that could have helped.....

First, it's JERMEY Parnell... and when I said that, he was listed at 280 pounds... so yeah, I figured they might want to use him as a blocking TE (you didn't see him playing any OT for the Boys last year, did you??)

But now that he's listed at around 305, I see him as a legit OT prospect... guess the Boys signed him to the active roster with an eye to bulking him up for this year (IOW, they didn't figure he'd play for them last year)...

I just didn't think that the Boys would sign a player to the active roster who wouldn't play for them; the practice squad, sure...

And yeah, it would seem the Boys have given up on Brewster... LOL...

Juck does that all the time; he makes some outrageous, idiotic claim, and when it's shredded, he falls back to a less outrageous opinion... at that point, it seems he hopes the rest of us will forget his original claim... it also seems that he's completely incapable of admitting that he went too far...

IMO, he's afflicted with what my Dad used to call "diarrhea of the mouth"... Dad said it was caused by constipation of the brain...

The older I get, the smarter my ol' Dad seems to me...

It took Doug free a few seasons before he was ready to play ot. Give a.o.a another year. If he cant improve cut your losses. But he deserves another year imo.

Every player on every defense in History has been run over at least once in their careers. One play does not define any player, good or bad.

No Stuff. There are Hall Of Famers, who were highlights in other Hall Of Famer's film clips.

Only ignorance would lead a fan to conclude that one tackle or trucking can and will define a player's career.

The Cowboys picked him up as a developmental prospect, and it was obvious as I argued then that they were going to beef him up to play OT. I believe he was signed off of the Saints practice squad, and in doing such he had to be signed to the Cowboys 53-man roster.

Either way, you didn't see Parnell playing as a "blocking TE" as you supposed either, so what is your point, lol?

I think I might try to email one of the local reporters in Dallas to get the real scoop on Brewster. Cowboys' personel won't say openly what the problem with him was, but they usually divulge some info to reporters.

FWIW, I think Tim MacMahon said Brewster just wasn't good, and had a poor football body.

Cutting him right now would be stupid.

That's the longest, "I was wrong.", I've ever seen. :laugh2:
