I never waivered in my analysis that Steele was better. There is no doubt about it. The move to go with Steele was by far the right decision. The trolls and crybabies had a field day with this move and they were totally wrong. Go Cowboys!
Excellent time to bring it up with the body of work and he isn't going against Hutchinson again. What would Hutchinson do to Collins?Steele had his worst game since the first one. He gave up a sack, at least one other hit on the QB and had a couple of false starts. Not saying you aren't right, just that it seems like a bad time to bring this subject up.
Of Course they did. They do know what they are doing. They are good and they are going to be good next year too.100% correct. I was a little concerned when the Cowboys straight released him, but the Cowboys knew what they were doing.

I like it when he gets downfield and pancakes people. A type of play that is impossible for Collins to do.Yeah, he is. Easily.

Don't know. I just know this one wasn't Steele's best game. Been pleased with him so far overall, but he and Tyler both had some problems with Hutchinson. Steele also needs to clean up the false starts. He seems to have a bit of an issue with them like Witten did.

He's a cheerleader. Nothing more.
Steele is a backup level player. We need a real RT.
Like Erik Williams did . .
Besides the Bucs game, what other penalty game has Steele been plagued with ?
There wasn't really a decision based on who is better- this was a money decision. At the time they were up against the cap. Thats what happens when you give one guy so much money in a sport with a salary cap. I think Collins would have made 8-10 million this year if they kept him. He was an idiot, but a good right tackle. He wasn't a free agent very long, and had multiple teams after him for a reason.
