Anyone who says Steeles performance was worse than the Green game has a case of recency bias.

Steele gave up the store yesterday and Dallas probably wins if he doesn’t, but the Green deal was much more egregious, and should have been foreseen by the staff, which somehow wasn’t at all capable of an in-game adjustment. The guy was a backup, not someone who was just given a huge contract, albeit by “football man” Jerry.

Sorry Ms Prescott, your son just isn’t a winner.

That's real weak of you to disrespect his deceased mother like that. Instead of making your case intelligently, your weak coward *** had to say something stupid like that.

Go sit your weak coward *** down in the corner somewhere lil guy. This topic is for adults.

He gave up 4 sacks and 15+ pressures. He should be cut but there’s nobody decent behind him
can we not exaggerate!! OK drama queen, you know he can't cut be cut he was just signed to a big deal he's going to have to play through this or be benched a couple of games but I believe he will eventually probably find his rhythm apparently post-surgery he's just not the same but that doesn't mean he won't get back there... Maybe you don't understand contracts and guaranteed money you can't just sign a guy and then halfway through a season cut him I mean literally just signed the guy means all his guaranteed money would be this year or next year I don't know how it was structured but either way it's a lot of money you don't cut dudes making that kind of money especially because you know the reason why he may be playing below his pre injury self it's because he got injured so that means maybe he can find his way back...

I do agree they need to sit him down and tell him that he's most likely could be benched for two or three games but are the players behind him going to be any better or do we let him work his way through this because we don't have anything better?

Every DC in the NFL knows that Steele is slow because of his knee.

They should consider benching him until he’s healthy.

Unfortunately, I won't get to watch this game until tomorrow night when the NFL network replays it. I am really curious to see how the Eagles were able to take advantage of him. Is he getting off on the snap too slow? Maybe the crowd noise on the road bothers him? From what I have seen in previous games he struggles to get to the outside rushers. His lateral movement is slow. Then if he cheats to the outside rushers will cut inside him and he will be off balance an unable to cut they off. This is the same issue Tyron Smith had when he came back from ankle injuries in 2021. I don't think it is a power issue, at least not from what I have seen.

But I think the Eagles saw something in his game and exploited it. It wasn't one guy beating him. It was every guy he faced.
