Actually, they were only in that position because the eagles defense played like jr varsity and committed 3 straight penalities that moved the cowboys almost the entire length of the field.

Steele didn't lose it, Dak lost it. Like he always does. Took 2 sacks, play clock penalty, just amateur.
Why do you hate Dak so much that you have lost any ability to understand football? He threw for 360+ yards, 3 touchdowns, ran for several key first downs, no interceptions, and had a QBR of nearly 115.

If you're not trolling, then you don't understand this game.

Any quarterback plays better when they aren't getting pressured 50% of the time. Dak is no different.

Jerry didn't learn anything from having The Great Wall in the 1990's.

1st and goal from the 6. Why are you changing the play w the play clock expiring??? That was the beginning of the end. Steele was garbage too, but he didn't step out of bounds with a clear path to the end zone.
You are talking about 2 plays. Comoonne man! You sound ridiculous. What about Schoon not getting the ball in the endzone? What about Pollard not doing crap all game. What about Gallup drop to extend a drive? So much went into this. Quit blaming one person.

Dak lost us the game. Stepping out of bounds on the 2 point conversion, and then calling an audible with 6 seconds on the play clock. He turned a 1st and goal at the 6 into a loss
No. He made great play after great play, NO quarterback is perfect. He was sacked 5 times and flushed out of the pocket at least 10 more times

65% completions, 3 tds, 374 yards, no ints. Yes there were a couple of plays he missed, but that's every quarterback every game.

Causes of the loss:
1. Steele
2. Defense
3. Penalties
4. Refs
5. Poor route running
6. Dropped passes
7. Missed throws.

As is nearly always the case, the quarterback has some blame for the loss, but Dak was way down the list of things that went wrong...

Asim Richards Against the Giants . Make players accountable
likely be Chuma instead of the rookie Asim Richards

if it's not the ACL recovery delay ,.. I'm starting to wonder if this new OL coach (Solari) could be also
be a reason for his struggles this year.

Pre-ACL, Steele was playing at a pro bowl level last year.

Ir he can't do the job, sit him or at least send help to his side, they kept running long developing plays like nothing, the blame belongs on the coaches.

He can't even get a hand on a defender once they jump cut to start the rush. The Rams defender started this and now everyone will be copying that move to beat Steele easily.

First you give back-to-back sacks and then you give up one with 25 seconds to go. Why did he get paid exactly?
He got paid because he was one of the best run blockers we had before he got hurt. Hopefully, he gets back to that form. Our run game has been anemic. I think it's mostly the run blocking and the types of plays being called in the run game. We need to get Pollard in space, not running him up the gut every time.

And the even bigger losers are Jerry and Stephen. We are stuck with a highly paid RT that struggles in pass pro. Example about #10 of over valuing our own players just in the past 5/6 years.
He’s really really good in the running game though. Evidenced by the fact that our running game has been so stellar.

Phil Pozderac was worse but I cannot remember anyone else as bad in a game
Honestly in my 45 years being a Cowboys fan, the only other 2 games that compared was Phil Pozderac against the Giants in 1986 and Chaz Green against ATL in 2017. Pozderac was the fountain of youth for George Martin, and Green made Adrian Clayborn a bunch of money.

It’s a passing league. I don’t care how good of a run blocker he is, you have to be able to protect the QB. I understand you can’t have well rounded pro bowlers at every position…but you also don’t have to pay middle of the road players like a pro bowler.
