If they hit the QB more, why did we finish 3rd in the league in sacks (46) while they finished 14th (36)?

I think with Pacman and Newman in the game at the same time we are going to see a lot more pressure applied and a few more sacks. Our D put a lot of pressure on Schaub FRiday night and were very close to him only to have coverage breakdowns a second too soon.

Newman fixes a lot of that problem. We were very close to some game changing plays on D Friday night I thought.

The difference is that as a fan of the Cowboys, you're more critical than you would be a fan of another team.

Exactly! When I watch my Cowboys, I see everything, and critique every step of each and every player. Everything is under a microscope, so it becomes so much easier to find a flaw. And there will always be flaws with any football team.

When I watch other team's games, I really only remember the big plays, good or bad, that stand out. Having said that, my evaluation of other NFL teams becomes more generalized, and less scrutinized.
