i made a thread on here in the offseason saying we should get him and people on here said they'd rather lose with Weeden than have Vick on their team. LOL

The bottom line is Weeden should not be helming the qb position in this league. He's 0 and 10+. I don't know what people are expecting to change.

Yep, that penalty allowed the Steelers to hold on to that time out. They probably kick the FG there if that penalty isn't called.

I will say this...how Vick was out there and we didn't look at him when we had Weeden is mind boggling to me. I went to look and HOPE that Vick got a bigger deal but he didn't.

There were quite a few QBs out there I would have taken over Weeden.

Flynn (Still out there), Vick, McCown, Hill, Hoyer, and Davis are all QBs I would have chosen over Weeden.

I mean they are all better don't get me wrong but Vick adds a potential dynamic to this offense with his feet and he can actually throw on the run and throw deep. But I agree with you...all of those guys would've been better options. I just don't know what their contracts were like. But if i'm not mistaken Vick was had on a similar deal that Weeden got and that hurts to hear.

Weeden isn't playing with a stacked Oline and the best TE in the game? Dez was in the game against Arizona last year and we still got destroyed with Weeden in the line-up. Vick isn't the same player as he used to be, but he'd be better than what we're getting on the field now.

The only reason Vick got picked up by the Steelers is because of Tomlin. It's definitely because of the dogs which is hypocritical in so many ways, it's not even funny.
