Parcells explained the coverage last year, and it wasn't zone.

Don't bother trying to explain anything to him, you'd have better luck trying to have a conversation with your television.

he is a turnover machine...I cant believe there were people in this forum going crazy saying we "need to get this guy!!!"..."why didnt we trade for him????!!!!"

he threw 2 picks tonight, almost had 2 or 3 others picked...looks just like the turnover machine of last yr to me

David

For the life of me I can't understand how everyone simply dismissed Culpeppers post-Randy performance like that horror show had never happened. Even worse was the media falling all over itself to put Miami in the SB because they got him.

Ubelievable.

A deep zone isnt any more vague than man coverage or shallow zone is. A safety in a deep zone is responsible for one half of the field and is to remain deeper than the deepest WR. If the ball is thrown to the deepest WR, the safety is there to provide the CB with over the top help. It's really not that compliacted, but very specific.

RW was clearly assingned to a zone coverage and didnt stay deep enough.

Start cutting away

First of all, if it was 4 deep zone, then Roy would of had to take the inside WR that was running the post. Or is he suppose to let him run free?

Second of all, Adam has already informed you that it wasn't a zone defense. Just cuz Roy left his man to help out, doesn't mean it was his responsibility.

You should be arrested for stalking and unmatched obsession

And the award for "Lamest comeback post of the year" goes to...

What a coincidence, Rack mysteriously dissapears from the thread

:lmao2:

I didn't know I was supposed to sit here and wait for your ignorant *** to replay with more stupidity.

I was playing NCAA on my 360, excuse me for having more things to do then reply to your garbage.

Who said it was a 4 deep zone? It was a two deep, we were in a 5 DB set and the 3 corners were manned up and the 2 safeties were in deep zone on opposite sides of the field. RW responsibility was Moss' side.

Adam is wrong. If RW had left his man, he wouldnt have had time to get to where he was, he simply would have had to much ground to cover. RW underestimates Moss' speed, then shows poor technique by turning over his right shoulder instead of his left shoulder when he tries to retreat. In the video, he is clearly seen watching both Newman's man and Glenn's man (Moss) and when the ball was thrown to Moss, the deepest WR at the time, he tried to provide help. Problem was, he wasnt deep enough, then compunded the issue by turning the wrong way.
