Plan B options needs to be in place very immediately...

- Tyron Smith is only a matter of time ... So once/when he gets re-injured again, Tyler will move back to LT, with McGovern (also will be UFA)
inserted back at LG.

- Peters will have to be starting RT, once Steele's knee injury confirmed.
But should 40 yr old Peters go down to injury himself, ...who do we turn to ?
Josh Ball ? ...(Yikes !!)

- This is where we have no choice but go Martin to RT., i'd actually start spotting him at RT in weekly practices.

- Now if we lose Both Tyron, and Peters , with Tyler and Martin at OTs... who do we have to play the OGs roles besides McGovern ?
Actually we do have some options; it is not the disaster you WANT it to be

Steele has gotten better than I thought he would; a good RT. Not a pro bowl quality one but one you can win with

Hopefully only a sprain. Maybe Steele and Hankins can be back for the playoffs.
Not holding out any hope though, as this team still seems to be snake bitten at the wrong times.
Orthopedic MD’s can pretty much tell if it’s a ligament tear before MRI.

The scan just proves it.

McGovern at LT, Biadasz at RT. Peters at C. The Smith brothers at G. Smith/Smith or Smith/Smith. Whichever.

I am less concerned about losing Steele than I am about the losses on defense which are piling up. I think the loss of Hankins hurts the run defense but the losses of the two CBs hurts even more. I think the loss of Armstrong is going to be tough too.

On the OL the Cowboys have several options with Tyron coming back. They can move Peters to RT or they can move McGovern to RG and Martin to RT. However, I do think Steele is the best run blocking RT they have. Peters will b good but I am concerned about his stamina for 4 quarters. I suppose they can give his some rest by bring in ball for a series and helping him with a TE.

Hopefully Jake Ferguson will be back next week, although the way the league is protecting players with concussions that may not happen. The 4 TE sets have been good for the offense but I think they can live without Fergy for a week.

With Hankins out the Cowboys need Bohanna to really step up. Gallimore too. If Hankins is out for any length of time we may see a problem with the run defense again. He has really helped LVE's game.

The biggest losses are the two CBs. Joseph gives up too many completions. But the secondary just worked better with Lewis and Brown out there. I am really concerned about the Jaguars next week. There QB is mobile and has a good arm. I can see him picking about the Cowboys secondary.

He almost never gets beat on pass protection and his run blocking is excellent. Hes more than an average RT, he's probably top 5 in the league this season
