As those who have read my post over a period of time, I am not real happy with Jerry's performance as GM.

We have not been to a NFCC game in 28 years and counting.

The one constant has been Jerry Jones.

Until he steps down we are never going to see post season success.

He seems happy to have the Cowboys be relevant and win regular season games.

The post season is very competetive and seperates the contenders from the pretenders.

This is where Jerry's ability to construct a team fall apart.

I am sure Jerry means well, but it should be obvious to everyone, that he just does not have the ability to do the job.

This is the only real solution, but it won't ever happen, so people want to act like switching around players and coaches is going to change anything but it won't. The only consistent for nearly 30 years is still here getting the same results.

Yes, its the definition of insanity!
Doing the same thing and expecting a different result.

It won't matter if Jerry steps down. His son is running the team.

I don’t defend jerry much and hell I have his son in clown paint as a profile pic but Jerry has done a decent job the last few years building a roster imo.

Jerry (as the GM) and McCarthy to some extent...but one of them probably had more impact on losing the game. To me its 50/50 Dak and Jerry (Diggs was bad but I won't fault the defense yesterday). Dak for obvious reasons but Jerry/McCarthy absolutely dropped the ball by not cutting Maher after Tampa.

You absolutely can not tell me that Maher being in the game didn't have an effect on the team's psyche. Sure his extra point was blocked (albeit looking off) and he made his two FGs but I think the thought of Maher kicking was in the back of everyone's head that entire week, let alone yesterday. The entire game felt like we had to get a TD, even moreso late in the game when it was looking like we were going to rely on a kick to win/tie the game.

Who knows...maybe Dak and the offense plays the exact same way but I do think there is a conversation to made on how the game unfolds if Maher isn't there.

Not nearly good enough though.
Continuing the tradition started after our last SB.
“We did it our way baby!”

We are in the company of a very sad club of teams not to reach a SB or CCG since 1995: Detroit , Washington , and the Cowboys !!!! How sad .

I am curious if anyone else has done a 180 in their stance on the following....when the Eagles won the Super Bowl 5 years ago, it absolutely DESTROYED me....it was easily one of my Top 10 WORST sports days in my close to 60 years on planet earth. Having said that, I now have decided that I want the Eagles (if the Bengals lose) to beat KC and win another one....I want Booger to feel like absolute S as much as humanly possible. That is just how much disdain I have for this idiot for totally destroying my football enjoyment for close to three decades.

How can you say that after the fuhrer made us the most profitable franchise in sports history and he built that big stajum?
  • This season is about as good as it gets around here with the players and coaches working under the watchful eye of the fuhrer.
  • The fuhrer makes it impossible to make a deep playoff run do to all the distractions, lack of a head coach with any authority, and the constant crowing about "Super Bowl" from the idiot who does radio and TV interviews 24/7.
  • The fuhrer is the face of the franchise by design to ensure he gets all the credit for making us playoff irrelevant.
  • The fuhrer's health is failing but no worries, there will be another Jones to take over all football decisions once the fuhrer is lowered into the 50 yard line crypt at the stajum.
  • The fuhrer IS the one constant over the past 27 seasons and gets all the credit for the 27 season, no NFC championship appearance streak.

jer jer is around 80, and what normally happens at that age ( to some folks I know), they completely lose their filter (if they had one). Things that use to matter, that required attention and detail are not as important. Is jer jer saying to himself, "I've lived 80 years successfully and have (by his standards) a great family, a yacht, most popular football team ever, more cash then I can count, won 3 Superbowls, free parking at Cowboys stadium, free barbeque in my suite and my clock is ticking down and really don't care as much as you may think.
