You are spot on my brother problem is it's not obvious to Jerry either that or he chooses to ignore it because he wants to play with his toy the way he wants to play with it and he doesn't care how long he makes us all suffer.
Thanks Buddy, Kinda feeling blue, the season ended so suddenly.
During the regular season you always have the next game to look forward to.

I'm with you there brother I lowered my expectations to making the playoffs I've stated it in many posts but I have to admit it is still painful to lose like that because I am always hopeful.

Even though I know that I am kidding myself I cannot help from having hope that at some point the stars will align and we will actually get over the hump we were very close this year to doing something special.

We played right with the 49ers but when I saw Dak All tight and unable to complete screen passes I knew it was the beginning of the end our defense fought very hard but the fact Dak. turned the ball over eventually wore them down.

But as bad as he played trayvon Diggs put the nail in the coffin by not engaging kiddle on that pass and breaking it up or catching the interception on the same drive.

Dak failed at his job but trayvon Diggs chose not to even try to do his and that is unacceptable

Yep, you got good dak and bad dak.
Once it became apparent that bad dak was playing all hope was lost.

As those who have read my post over a period of time, I am not real happy with Jerry's performance as GM.

We have not been to a NFCC game in 28 years and counting.

The one constant has been Jerry Jones.

Until he steps down we are never going to see post season success.

He seems happy to have the Cowboys be relevant and win regular season games.

The post season is very competetive and seperates the contenders from the pretenders.

This is where Jerry's ability to construct a team fall apart.

I am sure Jerry means well, but it should be obvious to everyone, that he just does not have the ability to do the job.
I hate to tell you Stephen is worse.

This is the only real solution, but it won't ever happen, so people want to act like switching around players and coaches is going to change anything but it won't. The only consistent for nearly 30 years is still here getting the same results.
If we had Brock Purdy at QB yesterday we would be playing in the NFC Championship game next weekend.

Sure, we could have kept Cooper
But overall......The front office is not the culprit this year.
And Jerry hasn't been GM for years.
Como on.

Jerry is not stepping down. It is his team (i.e toy, gravy train, etc). He wants to win but it has to be on his terms.

I understand where you’re coming from but you’d have a better chance of Kim Jong-un stepping down in N Korea than Jerry doing it…….

He steps down, it goes to Stephen. Stephen is already running most things and he might actually be worse....
I know of a better example of something like this but I’m not trying to get the 24hour benching today.

hate when I’m not allowed to hit a softball out the park

I’m sure that every time he has doubts he looks at the cowboy financials and his mood picks up

Maybe if he becomes a zombie, or a vampire, or a lich...
Zombies have an insatiable appetite for brains.

Zombie Jones will never attack any qualified football management professional on the face of the Earth.
