Stephen A. Smith lost his mind today (video)

I think you can be a homer and not be stupid. Everything he said, myself and a hand full of others have been preaching for a few years. People hate to hear the truth. Stephen A is spot on folks. You can hate him for saying it, but it's the spot on truth.

I have an idea, try winning. Winning shuts people up. But if you're going to lose, and us fans cry and try to make excuses for it, not only is the organization looking like fools, but so are we.

If we would stop sweeping the issues under the rug, and say to Jerry, we're not putting up with this **** anymore and boycott tickets, memorabilia, and other Cowboys related issues, maybe, just maybe things will change and Stephen A will have nothing legitimate to talk about.

Somebody send a PM to the Cowboys and tell them to try winning. It'll shut up Steven A Smith, plus, you know, we'll win.

Clove has been saying this for a few years, but for whatever reason, they're not listening. They keep trying breaking even, when they need to try winning more games. Good stuff.

Why is it irrational that someone who admits to hating the Cowboys is getting plastered on a Cowboys fan board? The most rationale thing in the world is for a fan to defend the team he loves. And nobody is killing the messenger. We're just laughing at the clown known as Stephen A.

I do not understand how any Cowboys fan could defend this idiot. It's one thing to talk honestly about the Cowboys with other Cowboys fans. It's another thing entirely to listen to a known hater hating on your team - true or not.

I have no problem facing the reality of what the Cowboys have been for the last couple years, but I'll be damned if I'm going to listen to a fan of one of our rivals talk trash. Defending this Stephen A guy would be as bad as not defending my 'Boys when the idiot Eagles fans in my area want to talk trash.

To me at least, it has nothing to do with what he says and everything to do with how he says it, his delivery. He is just annoying and over the top. It's not just about the Cowboys. I can't stand to listen to him.

I feel the same way about Jim Rome who I think is an obnoxious dork trying to be cool and hip. If you have to try that had to be cool, you just aren't.

1) Stephen A and Skip are annoying trolls who basically milk every subject to get a fan reaction. That is what their show is based on. Loud and obnoxious

2) This piece was actually kind of funny because they weren't being THAT serious and were just laughing about the subject. People know what is going on here

3) Nothing Stephen A said was untrue. He had valid points. Skip didn't really address those points but the points he made about haters is also true. So it was a pretty factual debate but one, nonetheless, just to get reactions.

The truth always sounds like hate, to those who hate the truth. Is SAS annoying and overly dramatic? Yes, but he's paid to do that. He has a job to do and he does it well, which is why you get both a positive and negative reaction to whatever he says. Was SAS wrong about what he said? Absolutely not, he told the truth and people on this site tend to hate the truth if it's not pumping up the Cowboys as a great team.

Lol. I really hate the truth, so it's hard for me to say one way or another, but I'm pretty sure the truth does not always sound like Stephen A Smith nonsense at a camera in order to get some attention for his tv show.

Your problem seems to be with SAS and not so much with what he had to say about the Cowboys, am I right about that?

Yah. As I said, I didn't listen to it. I just know from experience that the guy is annoying, whether he's right or wrong.

He might well have been dead-on in what he's saying, I don't know.

Jerry Jones is a lot closer to being Skip Bayless and Stephen A. Smith than the worlds away he is from being Tom Landry or Paul Brown....his rogue fantasy cost each Fan of the Dallas Cowboys everything,

I feel the same way about Rome and Stephen A Smiff too.

I love SA Smith. He didn't say anything out of the ordinary for him. And a lot of what he says is correct. We are an average team over the past 16 seasons. What else is new?

he is right. Cowboys are average
