It's the worst-kept secret on the Earth that ESPN shock-jock Stephen A. Smith despises the Dallas Cowboys, and particularly their fanbase.
The question that has always swirled around his disdain is a simply one, however: Why?
On Wednesday, Smith took to the airwaves to finally reveal the answer -- and it seemingly all began with a boyhood crush

I could tell you her name, doesn't matter," Smith began as he referenced a former girlfriend who staunchly supported the Cowboys. "The truth is, she was my first girl. My first love. And I'll never forget her for as long as I live. Normally you can point to the beauty: the hazel brown eyes, shoulder-length hair, the figure, the laughter, the good times.
Unfortunately though, here's what I remember most -- that damn No. 33 Cowboys jersey she always wore."
"It's undeniable when you remember Jan. 5, 1985, the day after the Dallas Cowboys lost to the Los Angeles Rams in the playoffs -- recalling that you were dumped because Tony Dorsett rushed for only 58 yards in a playoff loss."

Why does anyone give a rats *** what he thinks about anything?

I don't I just like seeing that some poor girl who woke up after a night of heavy drinking and realized she was with a real putz and got out as quickly as she could. lol

Is that the real reason? I heard it's because Thomas "Hollywood" Henderson embarrassed him as a child. He asked Hollywood for his jersey and Hollywood threw him his dirty jock strap instead.

See if he would have given Hollywood a coke I'm sure he would have given SAS his jersey like Mean Joe Greene. Instead the pencil neck geek likely was talking trash and Hollywood gave him is jock

I have an ideal for a show for both of them called, dueling pistols. Get back to back to 2 paces turn and shoot. (I would say 10 paces but I doubt they could hit the side of a barn)

I think it's hilarious. At least it's original, not some Americas Team issue or he got snubbed on a player autograph or he hates Texas.
Who in here has an ex girlfriend or wife who got dumped or dumped you because you loved the DC over them? I have 2 ex girlfriends who despise the Star because of my love and time for this team over them. One of them turned into a Commander fan just for that reason. Hilarious.

when they were together it was fun dumb. seperate they're just sad and trying to coax insane hot takes out of their level-headed new cohosts.

It's like ...2 three legged dogs fighting blindfolded is fun. But seeing one simply try to climb the steps is sad.

Yea that's exactly what's it's like
