You guys buying this story?. It's for ratings and nothing else, no normal Cowboy fan would go out with George Jefferson.

I could tell you her name, doesn't matter," Smith began as he referenced a former girlfriend who staunchly supported the Cowboys. "The truth is, she was my first girl. My first love. And I'll never forget her for as long as I live. Normally you can point to the beauty: the hazel brown eyes, shoulder-length hair, the figure, the laughter, the good times.

Unfortunately though, here's what I remember most -- that damn No. 33 Cowboys jersey she always wore."
"It's undeniable when you remember Jan. 5, 1985, the day after the Dallas Cowboys lost to the Los Angeles Rams in the playoffs -- recalling that you were dumped because Tony Dorsett rushed for only 58 yards in a playoff loss."

I think it's hilarious. At least it's original, not some Americas Team issue or he got snubbed on a player autograph or he hates Texas.
Who in here has an ex girlfriend or wife who got dumped or dumped you because you loved the DC over them? I have 2 ex girlfriends who despise the Star because of my love and time for this team over them. One of them turned into a Commander fan just for that reason. Hilarious.

My wife, who is a life long Commanders fan, who I've been trying to convert for years, recently revealed that she once considered switching to the Cowboys shortly after we got married and she asked to wear my Emmit Smith jersey. She said I told her no because it would jinx the team if someone else wore my lucky jersey. Because of that, she says she will never consider being a Cowboys fan....ever. I even offered to buy her her own jersey to no avail.

SAS is the definition of jealousy. You know the guy can't wait until this team loses again so he can spew his hatred. Hopefully that won't happen for a while. Just wait until we build a defense as potent as our offense. SAS will be miserable for years to come.....

Here's the thing...

Smith may be a huge Cowboys lover. Bayless may be a big Cowboys hater. But whatever ESPN told them to say, they said. They obviously didn't actually disagree on everything they said. But that was the show: one person argues one way, the other argues the other way. The first day Cowboys hate/love was to be talked about, they might have played Rock Paper Scissors to see which one was gonna say they loved them and to see which one was gonna say they hated them.

Sounds like a woman with all the right priorities in life.

If Stephen had really loved her then he would have been wearing Staubach or Tony Hill's jersey.

Face it, that was a character test and he failed miserably. After all, it's common knowledge that if you are not a devout Cowboy fan then you are a deeply flawed human being.

This guy gets talked about more on the board than anyone else. Maybe that is why he plays the hate card on the Boys, because it gets him a ton of coverage. Including here!!

SAS will never change -- by his own admission, he's been hating the Cowboys far too long now for that. I've learned to take him with a grain of salt. He's making the big bucks for spouting his opinions incessantly and surely doesn't hesitate to lay it on thick in doing so. He can even be somewhat entertaining if you don't take him too seriously. He, Cowherd and Bayless were cast in the same mold, I think . . . all maniacal blowhards -- lol.
