If it means him spending more time off the air...I hope he keeps saying stupid stuff.

With a little honest reflection about exactly what Smith said, what I said, and what you said I believe you'll find the answer to your question and realize what's being done to him and to all of us. The sheep are all lining up to condemn the man even though what he said is entirely logical and reasonable.
To me it sounds like blaming the victim.
Now that would be a naive or dishonest overstatement.
It's neither. It's no different from telling a child not to be annoying, lest he might provoke his mother into breaking his arm.
Of course it's wrong to spit on someone. But it doesn't excuse you if you retaliate. I'm to blame for spitting on you; I'm not to blame for my black eye.

Nice way to turn this political.
Exactly,,, that's what Smith is thinking. lol.
This is a social issue, you turned it into a political issue with your comment about about the "left". What's wrong is wrong left or right has nothing to do with it.
Nope, this is how politicized groups control entities like ESPN and oppress voices. It's going on all around you if you're willing to look.
Take your tinfoil cap off and step into reality for a bit. The only sheep you refer to are the ones that believe everyone and everything is out to get them. If you can't evolve with society and the changes that need to be made that's a you problem not a "left" problem. Deal with the fact that the issue here with Ray Rice is a social and moral issue. Striking a lady is wrong, and if she is abusive towards a man then she should be held accountable as well. I don't care for SAS and I can see how his words can be offensive to some. Have you dealt with battered women? Have you been involved with crimes where women were murdered because of domestic violence? You know why those things occurred? Not because they should've watched what they said, it's because they excused the abuser away. The words spoken by SAS were pretty much that keep your mouth shut and it won't happen. That isn't a good example to set period. So tell me again how that is a "left issue". I'll wait because it isn't, but good luck with that.
