Threads like this are like crack for the Dak haters
Dak can't be a run threat anymore. Teams aren't worried about that with him at this point. The rare times he has moved since his injury he looks like he's stuck in mud. He just lumbers.I'm not a huge Dak fan now, I was his rookie year.
I have seen him play great with a simple offense and with him as a run threat. When he/coaches/owner decided to make him a pocket passer, it took away a lot of his effectiveness and made him very inconsistent.
I was against signing him during the 2 year negotiation stretch, I wanted to transition tag him and see what the market would bear in price and draft picks.
Rush doesn't have the same physical tools, but Rush is better with his running of the offense and his consistency. Less "oh damn" play and less WOW plays.
Put Rush's brain in Dak's body.
Hey I've like Rush since that pre-season game he got hot in, I think 2017? Romo said in the game he broadcasted that Rush's is stronger at throwing the ball than he used to be, improved mechanics.Dak can't be a run threat anymore. And he was never a pocket passer. He would have never been in the NFL if he was a pocket passer in college. He was drafted because of his mobility and now that's gone.
Rush is just boring and I get why people don't like that as much. Personally, I don't care how many points we score as long as it's more than the other team.
I'll also say this... Until we lose in a shoot out type of game with Rush at QB people need to stop saying we can't score points like that with him. We score what is needed and that's all that matters.
People want to forget that Dak played Week 1 and only managed to led us to 3 points.
That never happened apparently and when he comes back we're going to just roll teams.
When Dak is "on" he is a great player , unfortunitely you don't know when that's gonna happen, and it does not happen against good teams, at least not recently .Hmmm… according to how his peers voted, they seem to think so!!!
The only game that happened after Week 6 last year was the Philly game when we played against their practice squad. The 49ers game with a 30 QBR a game before that never happened either. Lol

They also want to forget that Cooper Rush put up 20+ points in games we were supposed to lose, drove the length of the field multiple times in EVERY game and did what Dak couldn't do - produce.
When they have a legitimate running game where the safeties can’t sit back in 2 deep and the ends have to actually play the run and not pin there ears and rush like it’s 3rd and 20 with a 20 point lead, then he is really good. When faced with what he had after Zeke’s injury, he had the same results as what any other QB would have had! When Dak is "on" he is a great player , unfortunitely you don't know when that's gonna happen, and it does not happen against good teams, at least not recently .
He still got his shirt with moms spaghetti on itLook
If you had one shot, or one opportunity
To seize everything you ever wanted
One moment
Would you capture it or just let it slip?
Was Zeke injured against Tampa Bay ?When they have a legitimate running game where the safeties can’t sit back in 2 deep and the ends have to actually play the run and not pin there ears and rush like it’s 3rd and 20 with a 20 point lead, then he is really good. No, Tampa is one of the few teams in the league that can dominate an opponent’s run game with just there front 6. Vea and those LBs are kinda good and both can cover to boot! Was Zeke injured against Tampa Bay ?

Go watch the 2016 playoff game vs the Packers...or the 2018 playoff game vs the Seahawks...or the 2018 playoff game afterwards vs the Rams. There are more, but those 3 playoff games specifically.Dear Stephen…your “franchise” QB has not ever once represented in a big game…the few that Dallas has been in this modern era.
