We wouldn’t have released Dez nor give up a number 1 for Cooper especially since Stephen gave us the lecture about how they wouldn’t make any more big names acquisitions via free agency and build through the draft and then they turn around and give up a number 1.

And that all these moves in the off season were to make this offense Dak friendly and they didn’t need a number 1 and it would allow Dak to spread the ball

Worked like a charm. Instead of talking about a 7-9 season or worse and firing Garrett, everyone is talking about this now. And if this starts to peter out, he'll just do something else.

Jerry is a genius at just stringing it out. Been working for him for over 20 years now since Jimmy Johnson left. No wonder he's in the HOF.

He recognized early on just how stupid the average goober is and what he needed to do to get every one of their dimes and nickels. And they're still throwing it at him like he's the man. Which, of course, he is.

This buys Dak and Garrett (and Jerry) 2018 and 2019
