Stephen can't admit he regrets being inactive last offseason

We should start calling Stephen “BC” Jones. The “BC” stands for his qualifications to be in his job…his BIRTH CERTIFICATE.

BC Jones has an appropriate ring to it.

Watch how hard it is for him to answer this question and then blame it on injuries.

he is thinking, we maximized profit like nobody else....we got zeke and sold the last of the zeke jersey inventory. we were 29th in FA spending. and outside of a couple of games in the begining, had the stadium full....so yeah, I don't regret it..... it worked out the way it was best for our pockets.

At least he didn't talk about how screwed the Eagles will be 3 years from now.

Of course not.

Seriously, I don't think some here understand just how horrendous Jerry n Stephanie are at their jobs. They quite simply have tried everything they can, they're now just lost.

… they’ve tried everything except be active in free agency lol

They had their shot in 21-23 and blew by not being able to recognize the window they had, and needing and extra quality starter or two.

They wanted to win then and also outsmart everyone else by not mortgaging the future to do it. Only sort of.

Now that’s over and they need at least two solid drafts in a row to get back to that spot, but the QB is also in sharp decline.

Again, they blew it.
Yup, and started drafting TE's and problem players again. It's what they always resort to, it's their fallback plan. Get some more TEs and CBs and WRs.

No, they tried that. They failed miserably so they quit.

Don't you remember Brandon Carr? Pacman, Greg Hardy, Cedric Thornton, Starr Luteleilei, George Selvie, Henry Melton, Darren McFadden, Rolando McClain. And more.

They do not have a clue as to what they should do at this point.

Outside of Carr, those are all of the same old one year, retreads.

It's a clown show. Wait until you see how bad it gets this year.

There is zero recognition of weaknesses. The downward trajectory this time around will be long and drawn out. Instead of being aggressive and righting the ship these idiots will watch this team slowly decline and make excuses along the way. It'll be another two or three seasons of mediocre to sub par football before they wake up to the fact they are in trouble. It's complete delusion. I SURE HOPE IM WRONG.

With the exception of Carr which of those guys were significant investments? They half @^# tried and then quit all together. Carr wasn't even that bad. Towards the end our secondary was burnt toast, but he played decent football earlier on, and he was always healthy. It's not like they signed Albert Haynesworth or Watson or someone. I don't see it as any justification to be scarred for life.

Carr was just an overpay. It wasn't even like anyone thought he was going to be a great player, but they paid him like one because he was the best available that year - and they were desperate at corner. The lesson learned should have been not to pay premium money for an average talent. But instead Stephen decided it meant not to take chances on high priced players ever again.

Of course. They also traded for WRs and paid them huge, RW and Cooper.

Jerry is so NFL dumb, if he tries something and fails, he's prone to not trying it again. I'm afraid since he screwed up and drafted Mazi that it's the last 1/2 round DT we'll ever see. Didn't work, so he'll quit.

Yup. That's how dumb they are. Paid top dollar for a #2 CB and then was shocked that he wasn't the next Deion.

Did you know that when Jerry was chasing Pacman, SF swooped in and signed ultra disruptive DT Justin Smith in FA?

Did you know that when Jerry signed Starr, HaHa, and McCoy that Cincy swooped in and signed Reader for the same money that we spent on those 3 has beens?

It isn't, but it did scar them for life.

Jerry prolly doesn't even understand the difference between investing in top dollar FAs and the bargain guys he normally gets.
