Never saw a guy get paid and start to hate football quite like Diggs.

I wonder if Dan Quinn and Washington would give up a 2nd for Diggs? Maybe a 3rd? I Quinn has to overvalue him since he fits his defense and had success with him. Diggs is going to be another bad contract that they will not get value for. Maybe a new start in Washington before it gets worse with him. The window is closing to get decent value for him.

After questions circulating about Diggs work ethic in rehab this new surgery doesn't bring much confidence he'll be ready for '25. Cowboys should go ahead and re-sign Lewis then find a veteran CB to come in to stabilize the group.

With all the cap problems, I think he gets cut.

he was an elite corner before all the knee injuries.

Honestly they need to keep him on ir until he earns his way back. They said they did not like his rehab last time so this time make him earn it or keep him on ice. If he ain't grinding he won't help. But uncle Jerry won't allow it, diggs will come back be a jag at best and Jerry will be confused why.

Jerry wants his dollars on the field no matter what.

The day he isn't on the team OR the day a linebacker or lineman will put him through a wall for playing patty cake on defense will be the day this defense will look top notch late in December vs a contender.

Good luck

  • $9M of 2025 salary fully guarantees the 5th league day of 2025 (injury guaranteed at signing)
It's looking like the best move is to take the out, but I'm not sure if this clause means Diggs '25 savings Dallas would recoup is not available due to him being injured.

We'll be lucky if he's available in Dec. 2025.
Right! Won't be in game ship until then. Every time I think our team's injury situation stinks, I remember the Lions casualty list. Not even a comparison yet they will be in the playoffs.
