Gone are the days of CB2 being target practice for the opposing QB, running around with their back to the football and no awareness of what’s going on. No more corny potato chip tattoos, just skill.

One of Jerry’s better trades. He’s had some doozies but this one, for one game at least, looks good.
He fits us like Bradberry fits Philadelphia. When they landed they werent what they were, but they are the right kind of CB's you want playing behind an dominant pass rush

The influence of hard working, smart and productive Vets can never be understated. The difference was clear with how Diggs played behind his pads last night. Gilmore is now teaching those young DBs how to act like Pros. Something a Coach really can't take the time to do.

Secondary is solid and just solid enough.

That pass rush is madness. Once the Giants decided to drop back they were in a buzz saw.

If Dallas can keep this up, they're a team that no one's going to want to get into a deep passing game on. Gilmore might be older but when you have Parsons, Lawrence, Armstrong, Fowler, et all in the QB's face, that won't matter.
I missed it . . . Did Gilmore struggle. . . was his age a factor?

Yep. Jerry has made some pretty bad trades in the last 10 or so years but this trade was a home run. He complements Diggs well, brings experience and leadership to the secondary, is a major upgrade from Brown. Jerry knocked this one out of the park. Good job Jerry. Jerry has put together a nice secondary of Diggs, Gilmore, Bland, Noah and the safeties. I give Jerry the credit because I blame Jerry for the bad moves. Got to be fair.
I have been screaming for this trade since New England made Him available . . . Many here disagreed with me

After knocking the ball out of Barkley's hands, I hope Diggs sees the advantage of getting in a runner's way.

This is a great point. . . Even Diggs admits this is the case . . . Diggs said he is 10x better with Gilmore's influence

For the most part, I thought he did well. There was one play where the receiver left him in the dust and crossed the field for an uncontested catch. I don't know if he thought he was passing the receiver off to someone or if he just thought Danny was going to run the ball.(He was running around the left side, as if he was going to run it, then threw to the aforementioned receiver.) or if he was just slow to react.

Nit pick much?

The big athletic TE got away from him . . . But for the most part he did good

Wow you are too much

I'm not nitpicking anything. I answered your question. I didn't even say this example was a bad play or his fault.

Get a life.

You're just looking for a chance to be negative toward other posters

Get a Life? Just Gilmore's presence has elevates the level of play of his secondary and you are ridiculous

Again, all you get from my post is a negative, which it wasn't. I answered your question by telling you about the one SINGLE questionable play he had. And the only reason I mentioned that was to explain the possible reason why the poster said what he did about Gilmore being older.
