If Dak really wanted to, he could sign for the 55 mil, so I wonder why he has not done it? Is he that freaking greedy?

Hell, when he is dead he can't take all that with him. Plus his endorsement money?
Sounds like he will sign. The only thing that would stop him is if he wanted to leave Dallas and that isn't likely.

It appears the Cowboys may have made about as good an offer as they’re going to make to Dak. They know he can get more money in free agency so it’s up to him. He might be ready to move on and explore other options. The longer this goes the more that looks to be the case.

I'll be honest, I don't recall any GM or owner getting in front of the cameras this much to talk about contract negotiations.
No one runs their team like the Joneses.

As an example, I live up here in the Philly area and Roseman isn't running to the microphones every day or every couple of days to talk about contract negotiations with players.

The Jones' really do love the limelight.
Now I understand. It all makes sense.

If Prescott is resigned then the clowm show will continue which is amusing to a certain point yet disappointing as it would continue the team's lack off success. Conversely, if he's moved on then it would provide the Cowboys with a fantastic opportunity to build around Parsons.

Honestly it gives me the impression that they have zero control of the situation, but want to make it seem like they are the good guys doing everything they can so they can tell the fans the players are at fault.

I thought it was very weird that the $55M number leaked from their latest proposal to Dak. That is something that really doesn't happen often, and especially not when a deal isn't hours away from being done. The whole thing just feels like the Cowboys using the media to get these guys to cave IMO.
It's not going to work this time. Jerry needs them more than they need the Cowboys..

Do you believe that he would want to leave? Why would he want to do that? That doesn't make any sense.
I highly doubt he wants to leave. If they offered him 55M I think he's taking it. I would think it is unlikely he would take his chances through the season to get a few more million a year in FA. That's rolling the dice when you don't have to.
