Video: Stephen interview

There’s been two things I’ve heard Stephen Jones say that got me really excited about the direction this franchise was taking with him in charge:

1. It’s not smart to overpay for the RB position.
2. They were going to hold their ground and not overpay Dak.

And they ended up doing both.

Why do they ask this man questions and why do you listen to the answers?

If you are this masochistic, might I suggest you just repeatedly slam your head with a door until you are addled enough to believe anything that lucky sperm says.

It must be me, but anytime I hear someone answer a question with, "I feel...blah, blah, blah", I immediately switch off. Give me data or factual information, no feelings

I feel Spring should already be here and, yet, we had snow last night. A better answer would be, "it's still in the 30's at night, but creeping up on the mid-60's during the day." I can work with that.

As an aside, I don't purposely search for JJ and SJ interviews, but when I come across them, I generally listen... always good for a laugh.

Who is that who called him out at the 4:45 mark about “how are we better” when we lost top guys whom he pumped up last year?….and yes I made it that far in. War of attrition

Depth is good cause our backups are nearly as good as the overpaid starters. Now how about adding some quality starters for once.

My favorite part was when our Director of Player Personnel called our starting center "Byedaz" at the 17 minute mark.

He doesn't even know how to pronounce his players names.

Actually, I think Stephen is worse than his father. God help us!!

Absolutely. For all of JJ’s faults— he is at least an excellent salesman, has taken risks and swung for the fences, and can negotiate and close deals.

SJ? Way too conservative and miserly. Players feel insulted when negotiating due to low ball offers, and he refuses to change, adapt, or adjust his strategy to the current data set despite diminishing returns.

All of these “cuts and cap savings” are from players/contracts that he negotiated!! It’s madness marinated in insanity and deep fried in incompetence served with a side of arrogance.

Cowboys!
