Video: Stephen interview

"I STINK"

For many years, I had hopes that Stephen would prove to be a better football man than Jerry -- what an awful waste of time that was!!
Like Anikan Skywalker,I thought SJ was the chosen one to lead us back to the light side of the force,I was wrong,he is the sith Lord...lol

To be fair the depth on this team is amazing once you consider for many positions the starters are the same quality as the backups.

Yes. Other than at a few positions, I don't think depth is the main issue. It's the starters we have to worry about.

When your DC is better than the HC.......that's good depth! We'll may need it, midseason.

The more I think about I believe Stephen and Jerry are pure narcissists. Listen to this guy. He truly thinks he is a football man. ZERO to show for it. The problem with the Cowboys FO is that they have NE Patriots swagger without the championships.

That's what's been bugging me lately.

They explain their actions as if it's some proven winning philosophy and it was the plan all along.

Time has not been kind to Stephen. He almost looks as old as his father these days.

If that's not enough to turn one away, there's that sneaky, sourpuss look he exudes that surely doesn't inspire trust. :omg:

There is a good reason why nepotism is not allowed in most major successful businesses.
The Cowboys should be exhibit A
on why this is so.

Nepotism is just as bad or worse than diversity for the sake of diversity. Both are garbage and ignore the best person for the job. But any business is allowed to be family run if they choose to do so. We have to grin and bear it.

I have a state union job and nepotism, for all intents and purposes, is written into the contract. My employer gets to hire 1 for every 2 the union picks. Who are the 1? Friends and family. Totally legal. And it's a state job.

I have to admit it. I can't see what's being built here.

When your roster is largely JAGs it’s easy to look at the distribution of “talent” and call it “depth.” This team isn’t any more talented or deep than it was last year.

Stephen Jones sounds like your typical spoiled kid who was handed everything in life. He thinks he actually earned his role and his position, when in reality he hasn’t done squat.

Not saying every kid born rich is like that because they aren’t if they’re raised well and made to earn things for themselves.

But if the parents don’t make them earn their own way, this is the inevitable result.

Yep, grin and bear a poorly run team.....

a house of cards

I can’t stop laughing at his comment about how they like their FA strategy. LOL.

Yeah, Stevie, it’s proven to be ridiculously effective. You do have more playoff wins than the Commanders over the last quarter century. So there’s that.

Never trust a guy wearing "safety " glasses for sunshades:facepalm: Probably expensive safety glasses:laugh:
