Does it matter
keep ignoring football reality, you do it so wellWhine on. It’s what you do best.
Sick highlights ..........some in Lamb mode
Makes absolutely no difference what Jones says; Pickens' stats will speak for themselves. If Pickens doesn't have a stellar year, his agent isn't going to say, "But you said you didn't view him as a WR2'.Stephen should have kept his mouth shut because if Pickens has a big year he’ll be looking for WR1 money.
maybe that is the plan; talk him up and then say to the fans that they cannot afford to resign himThe Cowboys deal-making prowess is unique. In this case, they have a player on the last year of his contract and they are talking up his value to ensure they cannot sign him in 2026.
That would be awfully devious of them. I just think its more a case of dumbness.maybe that is the plan; talk him up and then say to the fans that they cannot afford to resign him
It's just all about Dak, nothing else.keep ignoring football reality, you do it so well
Yep..2nd Team All Pro 2023.Well, he was All-Pro just two years ago, so it’s not a crazy reach.
Stephen’s reply will be that was before he didn’t have a stellar year. His numbers don’t equate to WR1 money. If Pickens doesn't have a stellar year, his agent isn't going to say, "But you said you didn't view him as a WR2'.
Or trying his best to make sure he'll get that 3rd rd compensatory pick when another team overpays or gives him normal wr moneymaybe that is the plan; talk him up and then say to the fans that they cannot afford to resign him
The lower volume can also be possibly attributed to the fact that the QB’s and offense in Pittsburgh has really sucked since Roethlisberger retired. This is a sales pitch to fans. No way in hell do you take targets away from CeeDee and give them to Pickens.
Lamb can simultaneously handle monster target volume and be top-notch efficient with that volume. He's just a stud. Ferguson will also get the customary Dak TE 60 catches, so Pickens' target share is basically what we threw at Tolbert or Cooks last season.
Pickens isn't really a high-volume guy anyway, so I think he can make do with a limited number of targets. In his 3 years with the Steelers, he caught 52, 63, and 59 passes. But he's got a bonkers 16.3 career YPC.
Oh, I agree. Just saying that the diehards that want Dak to be better than he is will be acting like any improvement is all him.
