reading article today in the dallas morning news he expects to win next three games and win in the playoffs
does he watch this team or just dream big to be dreaming I don't know they can win anther game period I think the division race is over with already. After watching bears game I just don't have any confidence in them period does any one else.

"My father and I have done everything possible to field a winning team, if it doesn't work out, it's not our fault."

There's a distinct advantage in not having the decision makers accountable with this team. They can take risks and try again next year and the year after that and the year after that etc.

I can not wait to reap the rewards of that. ~checking watch~

Is this after the public team spanking?

Stephen Jones is high.

"My father and I have done everything possible to field a winning team, if it doesn't work out, it's not our fault."

He forgot to add the following (in bold) to his quote: "My father and I have done everything possible, given our pro football limitations and incompetence, field a winning team, if it doesn't work out, it's not our fault."

I still think Stephen has a lot more say in the day to day operations then most people realize.

I mean, what else is there to say after this quote?

He has no clue what he's looking at on the field. And he takes no responsibility for the product on the field. None whatsoever.

Looking at the quote, it's obvious that the blame will be put on Garrett and the coaching staff when this debacle is finally over in a few weeks. But the real blame is his father and the guy he looks at in the mirror every morning.

Stephen Jones: I am a Director of Player Personnel in the NFL.

Ooh....

Stephen Jones: Now I'm the King of England.

Whoa....

He didn't actually say that....right?

I didn't hear it, but the fact that it was in quotes led me to believe it was . I can't imagine anybody saying that, but with the Jones boys you never know.

I just read the article, He did not say that. My impression from the article is that he is trying to breed some confidence is all.

He probably should just shut up but if he is going to talk what else is he gong to say? We suck and have no chance at all?

I still think he is setting the stage for big changes this off season. Not only on the roster but in the coaching staff.

At least if he said that it would be accurate.

Stephen Jones: I'm king of the world!
