Not really concerned because I knew they wasn't going to be able to get everything in those 3rds. Cowboys will probably get active in the FA market post draft where there are still some options at WR and CB.

Cowboys brought in a technical WR Coach good at developing players, so Adams has his work cut out for him with a lot of young unproven WRs.

Tolbert, Mingo and Fluronoy are all bums. They havent shown they are no.2 yet because they are all terrible.

Mingo trade not only was bad but it prevented them from drafting a good RB in the 4th round.

Yeah this is a weak class, anyone other than the top 3 or 4 Im doubtful they would beat out Tolbert, Turpin, and maybe even Mingo for playing time. The Cowboys best bet is to go sign a veteran like Allen, Lockett, or Cooper if they wanted WR insurance.

Tolbert is WR2 based on last seasons' numbers. Was his contributions sufficient enough? I don't think so.

You would think that it wouldn't be necessary to qualify the role of WR2 to the possible future owner and GM and why the Cowboys needed to upgrade the position. His statement confirms his disregard for the fans and their legitimate concerns.

There is going to be as WR2 because there has to be. Some receiver is going to have the 2nd most catches and yards. That is, by definition the WR2.

I think what most imply from the title, WR2, is a quality receiver that could play the position of WR1 for a week or two if need be.

The WR2 would have to be viewed as a legitimate threat, one that can take pressure of the QB as well as the WR1 being constantly double teamed

Unfortunately, we may be stuck like this for 2025 and 2026 too. Next year's draft class for WR is nothing special
