Notice his comment about Lamb getting more opportunities........been saying it's real why reason Coop is gone.

LOL.

The real reason Cooper is gone is his contract and the fact he had to miss games and that pissed Jerry off. That's it. They didn't want to restructure him and Jerry held a grudge over the whole vaccine/missing games thing.

This talk about Lamb being given his opportunities is just spin after the fact. Like when they cut Dez and then came out and talked about how their offense was built around spreading the ball around to multiple WRs and they didn't need a true dominant #1 type.

Until 4 months later when they realized their WRs sucked and they had to trade a #1 pick for Cooper. Don't fall for the spin.

Translation: "Due Diligence" takes time, but we're probably not going to do anything.
More like it’s not a viable option
We need our picks because as good as he is, he can’t fill all our draft needs and we couldn’t afford him
The cost in picks plus a 25 mil salary just isn’t worth it when you have as many holes as we do

I think it’s more than just the games missed and contract
I think it’s deeper than that and more like why the raiders moved on

Anybody expect him to say anything worth listening to? Draft is 1 week away and I am almost numb to it...first time in over 30 years to not care
Really?!?! But we have so many 5th round picks to really make this team better than last year's..........

These clowns wouldn't know an honest offer if it came up and slapped the teenage strippers our of their laps.

IMHO, it was all of that—the contract, the missed games, Jerry’s pissed, the same sort of feelings the Raiders apparently had about him, and what we already had. They figured, “we have Lamb, Gallup, Brown, we sign a couple of FA’s, draft a guy, we’ll be fine.” Maybe better, collectively.

I understand why Cooper is gone. I expected it. But at the same time I realize it's a step back. You don't lose your best WR and think you got better. So the Cowboys have to overcome that to get better.

As far as the Raiders go, I wouldn't pay a dime for what they think. In the 2 decades since they've been to the SB they've had 2 winning seasons and a record of 110-195. They are the definition of crap in everything they do, including opinions. So if they have a bad opinion of a player, I probably like that player.

Maybe better collectively is what they told us 3 years ago. Hope they calculated better this time around.
