They didn't because I know going into this season I didn't think we lacked any receivers. I thought we had decent depth there. I knew it was basically Dez and a bunch of #3's but these guys haven't even been playing like #3's.

I guess that is why I am finding it hard to find too much fault with the team in the WR situation.

when you trade during the season for a QB you expect good performance?
no wonder your unhappy

No, when you trade during the season for a QB because you went with a pathetic QB who stunk it up last year, that everyone and their mother knew should have been released and should not have been relied on, then were unhappy

Clear?

Attention, peons (those without a filthy rich daddy)....the personnel is set. That is all. ~doritos bag ruffle~

& just to clarify further, if Matt Cassell made Tony Romo money, we would be celebrating a W. (I guess that's what he was saying... confused..lol)

I supposed that was his veiled way of saying we are floundering without Romo.

Stephen COUGH Captain Obvious COUGH to the rescue.

Romo truly makes the other WR's look good. Any thoughts around the League or in any other fan base that Romo doesn't make others better should be silenced now.

Great job Cassel for not turning the ball over. Is that what we've come too? He did a good job for not turning it over. Stephen is more irritating than Jerry to me.

I honestly think that if I played QB yesterday I wouldn't have turned the ball over

I'm great at 3 yard outs

Stephen is not going to come out and publicly slam a player. And he shouldn't. No matter how much it may appease the fans.

This 2015 campaign is turning out to be great comic relief thus far.

Completely agree that sticking with Weeden would be incompetent, but having to trade for a QB during a season is an indictment of whatever process/logic was used to select the incumbent backup. I applaud them for making a move in an attempt to save the season. I guess it remains to be seen whether it will actually save the season although it is not looking good atm.

You are correct in that "it happens" but if we go into next season without a better backup plan in place knowing what we know right then there will be worse words than "incompetent" being thrown around. And it will be deserved in my opinion.

I agree. Now we go into incompetence stage if they don't do a better job of fixing this after this season. I don't know what the answer is at backup. Some feel its to invest a high pick into a quarterback. I'm not so sure I do it just yet.......i'd rather struggle in a year after Romo is done and use a high pick on a quarterback then I would invest in one now.

Not at all, no.

What's fraudulent about Stephen? Are you judging him based on a radio show? Or the product on the field? And if its the product on the field are you going to judge him for the 13 win season or this 2 game season he's currently on?
