Stephen Jones on the trade deadline

A better linebacker than LVE. A defensive back? Get the best run stopping DT available…of course they expect Hankins to help shore up the run D. Hopefully he helps once he’s up to speed…

WR?? Did you guys see our run defense today?
They ran the ball 43 times and didn't win. In contrast... SF ran the ball 37 times against us in the playoffs and they won. Point is... you can't run the ball that many times, while playing from behind, and win. If we can get the lead we don't need a run defense.

How many teams have such a strong running game that they can beat us by running?

How did Philly beat us at the end a couple weeks ago?

Believe me they want more then a second round pick for Brown. Add two firsts and a second, maybe.
Yes, my fault everyone, my bad, it was Roquon Smith that Jerry said no to a second. Got brown on my mind after the getting gashed today I guess.

At this point Jerry Jeudy and Greedy Williams I would target.

And I would Honestly call the Bills and see just see if they wanna trade for Zeke.

Just see. I doubt it but hey rip the bandaid off and move forward you don't wanna lose Pollard but mostlikly you will.

You can't pay both. And ones already here on contract.

Food for thought

I don't like Greedy Williams. He's a selfish player.

Fully expect nothing to happen but I am encouraged at least by the idea that it’s possible and not the typical “we like our guys” type of answer.

He was a first round pick in 2020 and has been nothing short of outstanding. No way in hell a second gets it done.

they also just said as recently as last week they see him as one of the pierces they would like to build around

Its more the teams with good enough defenses. In the NFC - the Eagles, 49ers, maybe Vikings. In the AFC, Bills, Titans. That's my list.
