Stephen saying one of their goals is to draft a QB has to do with needing a backup QB. From reading his comments it sounds like they’re moving on from Lance and possibly Rush.

Dak sucked coming out of college. He only got drafted because he could run. If he would’ve been a pocket passer he’d be selling cars somewhere right now.

I’m done with Jerry trying to find his Tom Brady.

I’d rather wait instead of wasting another decade on some mid to late round bum trying to figure it out.

I’m sure this will sound crazy, but I would definitely go after Aaron Rodgers. I think he could be had for a decent price and it would light a fire under Gimp Prescott.

That sounds beyond crazy. lol Rodgers said he wants to go to a good team that needs a QB. He’s not about to be a backup QB and the Cowboys aren’t about to bench the highest paid player in the league in the first year of his new deal for a 40+ year old QB.

Don’t stop drafting them until you find one. Ignoring the most important position on the field is one of the many flaws of our clueless GM.

I don’t want them drafting a QB late this year.

All it would mean is that they will ignore the position for the next two years at least when they ought to truly focus on it.

Also….I would like to know who exactly is here that can identify this player, and can bring him along with coaching.

I truly think this drought is going to last much longer than the length of Prescotts contract. There’s one exception….if they happen to land the first pick when Manning comes out. Then there’s some hope.

I totally agree with drafting one and bringing in some FAs but Dak and Romo??? Romo was a lot better QB than Dak but both were/are far from any QB that will ever lead a team to a SB.
