Stephen Jones said the Cowboys won the offseason last year and it didn't help them in the playoffs

Predictable. The FO is blaming the players and coaches for the turd that was laid in January.

It’s clear that Stephen and Jerry believe the roster they assembled is good enough to win the SB.

However— what is so painfully obvious to everyone but Stephen and Jerry— is that none of the rosters they have built over the last 28 years have even been good enough to even win a divisional playoff game.

It is maddening to watch this franchise continue to chase its own tail, as the FO continues to blame shift and pat themselves on the back for the “good job” they are doing running the franchise (into the ground)

They won because the two trades they made to get older vets here that were disappointing? Or the terrible draft that was beyond bad? Or the lack of activity in free agency yet again? What is he talking about? Someone needs to go to the Total Recall machine or something.

It's always something else that's wrong.
Hey what's been the common denominator here for the past 28
years?

Quitter mentality and a sense of entitlement. Why try harder, do better. I flunked the test last time I studied, so why study? The cancer isn't in the locker room it is in the front office.

You haven't won anything when you trade half of your draft picks for the following season only to get booted in the wildcard round. In that case, they come away with nothing except a handicap when trying to acquire talent for the next season.

There is nothing clever about that unless you manage to get a Pro Bowl WR in their prime for a 5th round pick and he gives you back to back thousand yard seasons. A team that does that is clever. However, their trade partner was the opposite of clever.
