The HOFer never said he was above the team, the media told the fans this, the fans believed it. So Jerry and friends believed it, so all believes it.

There's some truth to your statement. I live in the DFW area and hear the radio shows constant cheap shots and complaining about T.O. to the point were it's ridiculous. I believe it has converted SOME fans to think the same way.

I believe they released the HOFer to sell more tickets for the new stadium.

I've noticed alot of advertising about purchasing season tickets on the radio after T.O.'s release.

Yeah he was my favorite player, but he's gone so I have no favorite players and I now believe that having favorite players is useless.
One thing this experience has taught me is that the majority of fans are followers. They tag on to the popular vote and run with that, they lack their own opinions.

Also, certain players are treated differently than other players and I won't really go there.

Certain players are untouchable to most fans, and others are just a steak meal for the lions. The fans who look at things from an on-the-field point of view are the fair fans, and I see little of this on this board.

So I'm finished being a player lover and I will just focus on how they play on the field, the coaches and how they coach,and the player moves from the guy in charge.

Is that fair?

Lurie is just cheep.............

He is cheap. Terrell Owens was the best WR in the league when he had him and because Owens agent was a meathead that offseason basically took a quick friendly contract that they both promised would be changed if Owens delivered. Owens did deliver and Lurie tried to continually pay him like he wasn't even a top 10 WR, mean while T.O was clearly the best at the time.

Really dude there comes a point when you just need to stop. You are not looking very good in all of this and just had your butt handed to you. For your sake, stop.
