This was a Garrett-Era loss. Not a good sign for McCarthy and Quinn. Worse than the Broncos loss in 2021...at least that was a veteran coaching staff that whooped them. This Cardinals team has a rookie HC who many were debating if he was even qualified for the job and a bunch of Kellen Moore-type assistants who don't have a ton of NFL experience.

What about the Chiefs? They lost their home opener to the Lions. What about the Bills? They lost to the Jets.
The Chiefs and Bills got off to slow starts, but neither the Lions or the Jets were considered the worst team in the NFL. Most considered them good teams. Entering yesterday’s game many considered the Cardinals the worst team in the league, and we were dominated by them. No team this season has been favored by two TDs except for the Cowboys and they lost. Plus Arizona has a journeyman QB who had only been with the team a month. The Cowboys gave up 181 yards rushing in the first half yesterday, the most since the 91 season. It was embarrassing!

Why do the Cowboys always need a wake up call? They haven’t won a divisional round game in 28 years. What happened yesterday against the Cardinals happens every season with the Cowboys.
Why do the Cowboys need a wake up call... two games into the season? What's there to be sleepy about at this point?
