Adam's is breaking down. 32 years old making a ton of money. He can still play when healthy, but we can't afford him. Heck if we couldn't afford Henry how could we afford Adam's?

If we could somehow replace Daddy Jones and Big Boy Giggles with NFL executives that are accountable for on-field results, really know how to manage the cap and build a quality NFL roster, I would actually get a major upgrade of hope.
Ok so u get a couple of NFL executives, u also get an NFL GM. Would they all still not report to Jerry anyway?

There is no CAP problem in acquiring Adams. He would cost Dallas about $12 million this year against the CAP. They can cut him after the season to avoid paying his $36 million salary next year and the year after. The question is, if he worth $12 million at this point in his career? He is injured right now and would not play this week or maybe not next week either. It's too high a price at this point for a team going nowhere anyway.

At least Jerry earned his fortune to buy himself this GM costume. All Stephen has done is be born and not die yet.
Jerry was born rich too. You may credit him with building a much larger fortune, but it takes money to make money. Nobody would know who Jerry Jones is today had he been born in a trailer park.

Jerry would be forced to fire them for bad results, unlike himself. Mike Brown of the Bengals used to be like Jerry, but even he finally got over himself, hired a GM, and his team made it to a SB pretty soon afterwards.

Stephen Jones is sounding more like his father.

Any teams interested in taking Stephen Jones off our hands?
The sad thing is, he would actually be an improvement for some teams like the Raiders and Panthers lol.

But yeah, don't think we need the Jones family to come out and tell us this. All fans knew we had zero interest in Adams. Would he solve everything? Nope but man, having Adams and CD would be a nightmare for defenses. And I feel this could open it up for the run game as well as defenses can't just play as close as they do. Defenses only have to worry about one guy and that's CD right now. We don't have the scheme to get our other guys involved or someone like Mahomes to mastermind it.

The same guy that jacked up Jerry against a wall to prevent him from signing Deion Sanders because he was worried about how it would impact the Cap in the future. Smh

I don’t think SJ would be able help any team but I’m certainly open to the idea, lol.

Cowboys EVP Stephen Jones when asked on @SASportsStar about having interest in Raiders WR Davante Adams: “No. I don’t think there is anything to that. We just signed our No. 1 guy (CeeDee Lamb) and (Adams) is a No. 1 receiver. When you have the challenges cap-wise that we have, that would be a long putt for us.”

Signing anyone of value is a sand trap for this FO.
