Stephen: Our offseason approach isn't changing

Like I was saying yesterday, those guys are just finding any reason to take the cheese no matter how unwarranted it is because they can't accept the reality that the Cowboys are trapped in.
Yes we all should know by now we should wait to see what's so different and what they do this off season before anyone buys the cheese.

This just put me in a bad mood

I dont even wanna finish watching the 06 seattle playoff game replay anymore

I was going to comment on that. I wouldn't say they ever attack any area. They try to address an area through the draft. Sometimes a trade. But I wouldn't say attack.

I don't know why they rarely address Safety. But DT will fall through the cracks if you're a build through the draft team, and rarely have picks in the top 10.
But, they don't.

If he means they will fill holes before The draft so they don't reach then cool. If they just continue to go the ultra cheap or busts that were high picks route to fill holes I may have to just skip watching next season.

"No, no, no. We don't need to change. We are nailing this."
It's a big mistake on Stephen's part and yet another good reason why this FO isn't the answer to their ongoing problems. A much more proactive approach to free agency is very desperately needed for any reasonable shot for a successful answer to the current FO's deficiencies. Better free agency preparation is long overdue for a true Super Bowl candidacy to come about.

Evidently, Stephen is far less qualified than what needs to be a workable chance at ever being a legitimate Super Bowl candidate. More of the same only guarantees yet another feeble attempt at having acceptable preparation. It's sad if that's his real intention. Let's hope that's not the case. We're about to learn more with the passage of time. Stay tuned and hope for far better leadership to occur.

It’s hard to change when even thirty years of playoff failure is not enough to make you want to change.

Arrogance is blind. What’s worse? Unaccountable arrogance - because it is not only arrogant - it’s stupid.
Absolutely.

It is really hard to dispel ignorance when arrogance has become entrenched

Lol. He didn't say thst.

LoL, weird thread. He didn't say they won't change their approach, he even said they made mistakes.

Of course that's all BS and I would have understood if you guys busted him on just outright lying once again. They have basically failed in ALL their off seasons, never REALLY addressed problems properly and they were ALWAYS on a different page than the fanbase, at least in this century.

But he literally did not say what the headline of this thread and the headline of the post it's based on suggests. That's fake news guys, sorry. And he thinks that this time the fans feel the same way about what to improve (defense I guess). So, we know he is talking crap because they never do what they say. But you can't give him crap for what he said (this time).

Lol. He didn't say thst.
No -- that's exactly what he said and has been saying all along. He's promising things that he has no intention of delivering. Jerry has been doing that for decades and Stephen is following suit. We'd better wake up and smell the coffee for a change. We're being played for suckers; that much is far more than obvious. What happens in the future will be our only clue as to what to expect. Don't be a sucker, for Christ's sake! That is what this FO counts on, and they've already proven it, time and again.

This team has been wallowing in failures for the past thirty years and holding. The time for change is long overdue and the clock is ticking. Time for being suckers must be at an end. Words from Stephen mean little to nothing now. It's far too late for that. What they do in Free Agency will be a valid clue as to what to expect from now on. Words and promises don't really mean anything at this juncture. Wake up.

You seem perfectly happy believing everything you hear this FO promising. It'll make you grow old, eventually. It surely had that effect on most folks here! You must be very faithful in listening to liars.

This thread was ridiculous. Most folks didn't listen to what he said. Stephen Jones has been bad enough without making up stuff.

Stephen looking like the guy that drank from the wrong cup in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

I don't listen to anything they say. I go by their actions, and they actions have been woefully subpar. To the point of utter stupidity.
