The Commanders are really stupid

That's a matter of opinion.

Even though the facts of how bad the Commanders have been over the past 20 years....

And there's a 3'4" lawn knome who owns the team there.

They seem to have an obsession with former Cowboys. They got McClain, but showed interest in Church as well.

Didn't they just sign Hatcher to an awful contract? It's like they are touching a hot stove and immediately forget that it's hot before touching it again.

It’s impressive how much they haven’t learned.

This is the Hatcher mistake all over again.

Hatcher was a decent player in a 3-4 who really excelled in his last year with us @ 3T. So the Commanders hand out a pretty large contract for him to return to a position that he wasn’t as good at.

McClain was a serviceable player in a 3-4 who did pretty well in his last year with us @1T. So the Commanders hand out a pretty large contract for him to return to a position that he wasn’t as good at.

But this time, substitute "old player" for "injury prone".

Bingo,......McClain had one good year with the Cowboys and that year just happened to be a contract year, go figure. The rest the time he was injured and playing business man.... Commanders got a cheaper version of Albert Haynesworth.....bet McClain is on IR by game 6 or finds an excuse not to play the whole season again

And the thing is they don't learn.

They been doing the "Hey, let's overpay for free agents" for seemingly the last two decades.

At least the Cowboys have seemingly learned that lesson.

Even if it does drive the fan base crazy.
