Stephen: There's a sense of urgency every year

They should’ve asked if there’s a sense of urgency during the times they’re on vacation on the first day of free agency.
Wilson, Sanborn, Murray were the acquisitions last year... That says it all about their sense of urgency. This year they are getting heat from all directions and are trying to give the impression they are actually trying

I did not say this year, I said the many times they have been on vacation at the start of FA.
That’s largely just a meme borne out of the 2020 off season when the family lived on the yacht during Covid and did the draft from that big living room area.

"Sense of urgency" is a terrible way to run an NFL franchise. It takes patience and smarts. Uhoh, looks like we're tish out of luck.

Yea, when Jerry goes it's somehow going to get worse. Hopefully, there's some infighting over money and they have to sell the franchise

I reckon their sense of urgency has a different meaning than ours. Hard to have any sense when your job ain’t on the line.
To be fair, they’ve done a decent job, given the limited cap space.

They are currently 20-25M over leveraged. All of the 2027 rollover cap is tied up with Pickens.

I think the OSA trade was terrible. Left us with a 16M dead cap hit.

I bet the urgency is real when they run out of Buffalo Trace and Latinas.

This guy might be worse than his father. At least Jerrah is somewhat entraining. This guy just says the same tired stuff over and over and believes the fans are dumb.
I mean if you have had a sense of urgency every year and you haven't sniffed a super bowl in 30 years than how bad do you suck at your job?

The best method to build their team to the big wigs of the Cowboys is to find and sign a decent player cheaper than anyone else manages to sign. It might not improve the team, but it certainly serves their profit margin greatly. If and when real talent governs their whims, real progress might actually become commonplace. Who knew?! The Cowboys' FO, that's who -- some things never seem to change! Put Stephen behind a mic and you'd think they're SB favs every year. Trusting souls love that stuff. Not.
