He also thought the way the Eagles operated, they wouldn't get anywhere near a SB, let alone win one...........................LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!I was reading an article in local newspaper this morning on Cowboys are among NFL teams looking to end title drought.
The nut of the story was do any of these teams have a QB which can take them there.
Stephen was very outspoken. Even saying a great QB is how you win in this league. And said if Prescott isn’t the best, he’s one of the best and ultimate leader.
And have to continue trying to put the pieces around him adding I know our fans aren’t going to believe until we get the job done.
Of course we don’t believe. Few Cowboy fans believe Prescott is the best or one of the best QB’s in the league. Is he enough to build around, maybe .Doubtful at this point. But who believes our FO and coaching staff can get that done.
He will suck it up again and then tap out again
When he "Injured" his hammy they were checking his hand on the sidelines
Dak is a coward and can't and will not face the criticism. Not for a whole year
Yeah ok . . . he was still a cowardI feel the same...Dak has some talent, if healthy. He take a lot of heat, comes with the job and contract, but every players and coach, is reliant on others to step up and do there jobs as well. I remember when I was coaching....I would do my job reviews, and sometimes have to fire coaches because their 16 and 17 year old players, didn't play up to par. Taking a man's 90k a year paycheck and livelihood because of this.....then i would think, this coach didn't step up and his failure to do so, could have caused me my livelihood. Driving a bus or corvette doesn't matter, all that matters is, did you get there, not how did you get there. I hope Dak comes through as our bus driver....he's all we got.
ExactlyYeah I remember seeing that. They probably told him his hand is fine and he said my hamstring hurts now.
Uh, why? Just because he is on an NFL team does not matter. There are probably a handful of QB's tons better than Dak, they just are not on an NFL team, yet. He's definitely one of the best 32 QBs in the world.
Those little accolades are not what an NFL team is striving for! How about a SB? Did you ever think about that. The rest of your post is nothing but fluff. Give Dak a cookie, same thing.Dak Prescott has been selected to the Pro Bowl three times and was a runner-up for the NFL MVP award in 2024.
Pro Bowl
- Dak Prescott has been selected to the Pro Bowl in 2016, 2018, and 2023. In 2023, he was named a Second-Team All-Pro and led the NFL in passing touchdowns.
The thing about this argument is its true over every player/coach for 30 years now....is Dak a bad QB if he plays for a FO who knows how to win? who knows and Dak sold his soul so he will never find out either.....thats on himFair enough.
History supports me fully.
Whenever anyone tries to downplay/ minimize the most important position on the field is when I will respond in kind.
It's what the other 31 General Managers are looking for.
It's the starting point to foundational success as historical stats support.
If you want to believe that QB is just another starter of the 22 you do that.
I will tell you that having a defense is secondary to elite quarterbacking regardless of this most recent SB in which I countered your argument with my opinion that Dak STILL would have lost.
Coaching and quarterbacking matters.
As a matter of fact they are items number 2 and 3 to overall NFL success. Right under number one.
General Managing.
The Dallas Cowboys are zero for 3 with all 3 above mentioned position holders as repeated failures at their jobs.
Get the Steel Curtain, Doomsday or 85 Bears... they ain't rescuing these 3 bums.
The accolades are really over blown as well. Geno Smith has the same number of 1st place MVP votes and just 1 less pro bowl on his resume. Those little accolades are not what an NFL team is striving for! How about a SB? Did you ever think about that. The rest of your post is nothing but fluff. Give Dak a cookie, same thing.
could Geno win with the Eagles roster....thats the question, i dont think Mahomes wins with this FO so to me there really is no question about if the Cowboys QB will be a winner...The accolades are really over blown as well. You better not tap out when you tear a ligament in your keyboard finger. LolYeah ok . . . he was still a coward
Anyone who thinks Hurts is the weak link on that team maybe should re-think it. Jalen outplayed Mahomes in SB 57 statistically and Mahomes looked pretty pedestrian in SB 59. No QB is winning without talent and good coaching. One game. Hurts had a great game, like Nick Foles. But Hurts is not a great QB. In fact, he is the weak link on that team. Give Dak or any QB a stacked team and they will perform better.
Good question, but probably. I think there are several QBs who would have wont the super bowl this year if they played for Philly. I'd put Dak on that list as well...I'm not here just to try and bash Dak, I just don't think the pro bowls and being in the MVP race is nearly as much of an accomplishment as they once were. The pro bowl has become a joke that many guys pass on, and the MVP voting has changed format to allow for more players to get votes.could Geno win with the Eagles roster....thats the question, i dont think Mahomes wins with this FO so to me there really is no question about if the Cowboys QB will be a winner...

LOL.Is Hurts as talented as Mahomes, Allen, Jackson and Burrow? Probably not but results vs stats mean more. Jalen is still pretty young and has room to get better.
