Stephen: We can win this thing with Dak

Its the same ole Jerry with the same liking 'our guys'. He rarely admits he's was wrong, which is the 27 year legacy.
"Leadership skills are undeniable" ...well unless something isn't going exactly to plan (maybe in a close play-off game).
That was Stephen’s words. :lmao::lmao::lmao:. You didn’t even read the article:lmao2::lmao2::lmao2:

"I've got all the faith in the world we can win this thing with Dak," Jones said from the scouting combine in Indianapolis."

Why?

"Because we know him. We know what he's about. His leadership skills are undeniable. Impeccable work ethic," Jones said. "Other than he hadn't won some key playoff games, he's everything you want in a quarterback. From the day he walked in the door, he's won a lot of games. We just got to get over the hump."

Prescott is set to count $49.2 million against the 2023 salary cap. He is signed through 2024. If the Cowboys restructure Prescott's contract this year, they can create up to $22 million in cap space. With an extension, they could create even more room.

"We've got to have a plan to ultimately extend Dak," Jones said.
For once, Stephen is correct.

Thankfully, any member, who disliked reading that tidbit, ended up with a banana too.

He's absolutely correct. We can win the whole thing with Dak. The bigger issue is can we win the whole thing with the Jones boys? That I doubt.

We've won the whole thing 3 times with the Jones boys.

Dak's never won anything at any level.
We did? Gee, that must have been a very long time ago with the guidance of a great coach and a team full of greats.

Seriously, that was the worst thing that could have happened to the team. Because of that, Jerry thinks he knows what it takes to win. He doesn't have the first clue. I doubt his 30 year plan works...

If Dak is extending we should all be hoping that he plays so horrible that they have no choice but to address the position of QB.

We're never winning anything with Dak, so it's time to hope for embarrassing failure.
Has to be taken with a huge grain of salt. Stephen also told reporters a month ago that he "saw no drop-off in Elliott's performance this year." Despite the decline in his stats. This goober probably favors extending Dak and Elliott.

True, but it's proven that we can win the whole thing with Jerry in charge because we've done it.

Dak's never won anything.

But, can "we" win this thing with Jerry Jones as GM and Stephen Jones as EVP and Director of Player Personnel?
