Stephen: We don't want apathy in our fan base

I hate to tell the 2 clowns running this circus but it’s only going to get worse from the fan base. Every fan has a breaking point. This franchise is broken and there’s NO light at the end of the tunnel anytime in the near future. 0-17 wouldn’t do these idiots the justice they deserve for tearing down one of the greatest sports teams in history! Wallow in your misery idiots!

All they have to do is spend some money and bring in some high caliber players and Bingo the fans will be happier and less apathetic. It's pretty obvious the statement " All in" was not supported by actions to make the team better. Any Cowboys fan could see that was a bold faced lie. We aren't stupid.
Very well said , all of it.

Bruh…

Yall do next to nothing to fill the holes on the roster

You pay a QB that’s reached his ceiling like he’s Mahones

The best the FO can do is put together Good teams that can win 10-13 games a year and lose the first playoff game

And you want us to be up in arms? You want us to be hype?

No apathy is what you deserve…I dont care….win or don’t who cares I live in Maryland I can watch the ravens on Sunday that’s a much better product because even though their recent playoff success is limited atleast they’ll load up next season and try again and be back at it and serious about a sb
Mahones?

It is put up or shut up time for Ol Jerry and son, make us love the team.Get in the game wake up put some pride back into the team.If they can't do it then hire people that can.

Nepotism in a professional, competitive sports league is unacceptable.

The fact that his father owns the team did not automatically endow Stephen Jones with the skill, talent and ability to run football operations.

How can the team's players respect someone that never had to earn his position, never had to face the pressure of being replaced if he didn't do the job.

Every player, coach and scout are evaluated based on their performance. If the team cannot achieve their goals, then they are replaced.

It is not Jerry or Stephens position as owner that I am criticizing. Their roles as executives that make football related decisions has detrimental the success of this team for three decades. Clearly, winning a championship is not their primary goal, a devastating reality for Cowboys fans.

You just have to wonder how many more years it will take to convince the Jones's that they don't understand how to build and maintain a championship team.

They have to know deep down they don’t know HOW to build a championship roster in the modern cap era.

There’s not another team in the NFL that would tolerate their front office performance. The fact that they hold accountable or fire everyone but themselves injects an organizational cancer that cripples the team.

They seem incapable of shame or humility. IMO fans who love the team but are sick of these guys should keep pouring it on. The fans in Dallas being sick of the Jones is still being talked about in the DFW market. It may not make the national news but I’ve never seen the local area so fed up with these guys.

What planet is this guy from?
They are totally inept putting a team together that can' get out of the wildcard round for 29 freaking seasons, then tell us we should love the team and be passionate?
They have run the team into the ground and killed my enthusiasm.
Memo to Stephen, build a winner, or hire someone who can!
Smh....

Was there apathy in 2023? I don't think so. I thought the fans were jacked up thinking the Cowboys had a chance to get at least to the NFCC game. Sure we were disappointed after the blowout loss to GB. It was an eye-opener. But we had a clear vision of what was needed to get better and maybe get to the Super Bowl. We needed a RB, and a DT or 2. Free agency was loaded with both. The only apathy I saw was the Cowboys front office take the free agent signing period off while the top RB in the league went to our competition. And Derrick Henry signed with the Ravens for basically peanuts. Apathy was signing Zeke!

But the Cowboys owner wasn't finished with his apathy. He took the entire offseason to sign CeeDee Lamb and almost as much time to extend Dak. We saw no urgency from the Cowboys front office.

If the fans are apathetic today, it is only because of what they witnessed last off-season.

He and his dad created the situation that everyone except maybe them knew it
would lead to a bad season, then dak gets knocked out for the season hence 7-10.
3-5 when Dak got knocked out. It was going to be bad no matter what. Might have been worse w/ Dak.
