Stephen: "We have a great chance to right the ship here.”

lol not sure what they’re watching up there? You wont right the ship until a new HC is hired. This spiel from him is complete garbage as usual.

next week's interview.

Stephen how did the bills run all over your defense?

Steve --"Well they caught us off guard with all the running and we didnt adjust but the good thing is garrett and the rest of em work ethic'd it all week and Dak leader shipped em up so we feel we have a great chance in chicago"

Stephen is right but fans would rather stew in their dirty diapers. We have another game in 72 hrs, they have to move on to prep for the Bills. Fans have the luxury of moaning and groaning about spilled milk but these players and coaches have to put that Pats game in the rearview and move forward.

Loser mentality.

The aww shucks, we'll get 'em next time doesn't work in professional football, only tee ball and AYSO.

Yes, you do. But, everyone is too comfortable. I mean, the special teams coach should’ve been poop canned last night. You literally can’t get any worse there. It would show some commitment to accountability.
There are five games left.

They play again in 72 hours.

The head coach doesn't have a contract beyond 60 days from now.

The Cowboys are in first place.

Despite the chaos, it'd be silly to fire coaches right now.

Really. Smokie and the Bandit?

A better gif would have been the ship flipping from the movie Poseidon.

You could replace him with Jeff Heath and get, at worst, the same results.

My profession is in upper management. I have managers that work 60/70 work weeks that are not getting results. And I have managers that are working 30/35 hour weeks that are extremely successful. Which ones do you think I’m replacing!

I don’t give a damn how hard you work, in my profession I need results or I don’t have a job.
Same here my dude. Those days of showing up on time and collecting a check are laughable. I have guys that show up extra early stay late etc. but just aren't that productive.

Stop making sense. It gets in the way of people wanting to use words like “accountability” as if it will make a difference right now.

the only way to right this titanic is kill the iceberg thats Jason Garrett

Gee, I'd love for Stephen to come out and express no faith.

That'd be productive.

I think the larger point here is that he's saying this a day after his father rips the coaching staff.

It would be better if Stephen just says nothing (and his father for that matter). Coming out and blowing smoke up everyone's butt about how we are going to turn this around just looks like spin control at this point after his father went all fire breathing dragon/scorched earth on the team 24 hours earlier.

Just say nothing.

He has no clue what work ethic is. He was spoon fed growing up with no worries in the world and no work ethic required.

Then just say exactly that... we played poorly and are trying to get ready for the Bills game.

They keep trying to pump sunshine and it is straight up denial
