Stephen, here's the problem. When you have a mediocre HC like Garrett, you must counterbalance it w/ a GM who is NFL football saavy. Instead, you have a mediocre HC and the worst GM in the NFL. (Arguably, yes). It's the combo that is sorely lacking. Can you truthfully name any model of success in the NFL where this was the case? Think, and think hard and long.
