Unless there’s a G on the practice team we like, Jerry’s boy should be looking at adding an OG with Farniok out. Peters cannot back up all the tackle spots and guard spots and play FB in the Hulk formation.

Very doubtful. Didnt he nearly tear it off the bone? And then what you are going to play musical chairs like you did last year when he came back? That was part of the problem. Although you cant argue about having Tyron in over Mcgovern.

Already coming up with reasons as to why we did nothing at the trade deadline. Tyron Smith will be back to fortify our OLine depth and help is on the way at WR with James Washington's return. What a joke! We should always be looking to upgrade the team. Especially this year. The NFC is just sitting there waiting to be handed to some team and the only front office that seems to care is the dang Eagles. There may never be an easier year then this year to take the NFC.

If that’s the case, shouldn’t they be working toward getting Tyler over to LG with Peters at LT until Tyron replaces Peters?

Does that not make the most sense?

Bull bird. Tyron probably won't ever play again but I'd love to see him in the UFC

This seems a bit like the Terry Glenn situation in 2007. Dallas kept holding out hope that Glenn would return and he finally did in the playoff game against New York. Seemed like good timing with Owens a little banged up. But after all that time off, Glenn wasn't able to provide much help.

We can poke fun at Stephen and I get it, but we are also an injury or two away from having Josh Ball at one of the tackle spots. Getting Tyron back if only as a reserve bodes well for depth.

Oh I forgot about Jason Peters but I think the Cowboys see him as a guard now.

Peters is best at OT.

How is Peters. Did he play Sunday. Had a injury that was supposed to keep him out for multiple weeks. Played a few snaps against egirls and didn’t look like himself..

Well his namesake Tyler is doing a very good job in my opinion, but it's always good to have the depth. And with Tyler being able to play all the snaps Tyron can stay healthy for alot longer now as they can share the workload. Cool situation to be in. :)
Tyron’s better.

I doubt it....but if he does they should wait til post season cuz that may be all he can play before getting hurt again. Sad, but true.

Great, speaking of rust. I love the guy but lost a lot of confidence in his ability. Lately he's good for a few holding and illegal procedure penalties. Just make sure he's fully ready to play at a playoff speed and level!!
