I am not sure he is healthy, heard he had a partial torn quad. I remember Marion Barber had that injury and it really hampered him.

4.4mil per OTC. Tampa has 3.3 per OTC as well

Maybe at this point he wants to go to a contender, with a need at corner, to boost his stock/rings and then cash in in 2022?
It might be doable then, if they do want him. Especially considering year 1 will be prorated (I believe)

Assuming gilmore is healthy... he probably not what he used to be post ACL knee issues but is he still an immediate upgrade over brown?

One year rental?

Tell me Jerry and Bob just did some back room colluding? They said, hey we can trade them to each other and pay their over priced salaries, or we can both just release them, take the lessor cap hit and sign them for peanuts. Brilliant!

That was my first guess. But I’d have to see what their cap situation looks like. I think it’s pretty tight.
From what John said, they are just under 4. Considering I think this year would be prorated, it might be workable if its a multiple year deal. If its a one year deal, then probably not. It would probably be too much to move around

He’ll be a buc by weeks end....maybe not them then the chiefs. I’d love him but let’s not count on it

What’s his contract hit if we deal the Patriots a 7th round pick for him?
From what I understand, both Gilmore and Jaylon could still be traded right up till they’re released at 4pm.
Nobody’s going to rush to sign Jaylon, but Gilmore will be highly sort after… might be worth offering a low round pick and see if New England will eat most of the salary that they’re otherwise paying for anyway.

Did Jerry and Kraft make up?
